(DERECHO possible).....Significant Weather event possible on Wednesday. Prepare now if this event occurs by bringing in light weight objects. Also prepare for possible power outages. Atmosphere will be primed on Wednesday for a dangerous storm system to develop from Wisconsin down thru Ohio. An MCS (Mesoscale Convective System) (a Complex of thunderstorms) will develop across Wisconsin moving into Illinois earlier in the day with some supercells with damaging winds and some tornadoes. The entire complex will start racing SE later in the day across Indiana & into Ohio by early evening, (possibly after 8:00pm). Chances are increasing that this will be a DERECHO (damaging wind event). Widespread wind damage will be possible with isolated tornadoes. Rainfall is likely into the night with over an inch expected. Monitor forecasts closely tomorrow in the event everything develops as forecasted.

I hope and pray that's wrong for all of us! Yikes!

Initially, we were supposed to get strong storms on Wednesday and possibly Thursday. But now they've changed our forecast to sunny and 80's. Hmmmm...

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Hope you're all well this morning. I had a bit of a headache last night but I rested a half hour and was fine after that. It's funny that I rarely ever get a headache (maybe once a month) but when I do it's ALWAYS on a Monday. Coincidence? I think not . Anyway, now that we're on Tuesday I'm just looking to have a productive day at work. Can't tell you guys how excited I am that the 2nd half of the year starts in 10 days. As I have said the 2nd half of the year has all our favorite things in it.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm in The Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. This place is just unbelievable. I had no idea a hotel could be so large. I guess I'm just a country boy after all! Right now, I'm sitting next to a waterfall drinking coffee, surrounded by palm trees. Later, we're going to take a boat ride in the river...and it's all under roof! Crazy!

After we checked in yesterday, we went out to eat at Cheesecake Factory. After that was done, we all agreed that we could go home now LOL! Wow, it was good!

Tonight, we're going to the Grand Ole Opry. I think Charlie Daniels Band and a few others are playing, so that should be fun.

Yep. Just 4 days off from the next Milestone. Barely over HALF a week away!


Another very nice day was had yesterday. Not quite to the standard Sunday set, but pretty close.
Today should be much more warm and humid, making us really appreciate the prior two!
We currently stand just under 72 degrees here at this hour in the capital city.

Tonight we finally get to celebrate KK's birthday (my baby is 20 years old now) by going out to eat at Olive Garden.

Hi MMCountdowners! HAPPY SUMMER! We made it! Next season change we'll be wishing each other a happy fall, y'all! So exciting. I'm going to enjoy the beauty the summer offers though-trips to the river house, enjoyable time with friends, warm summer breezes, and beautiful sunny mornings on the way to work-love that it's light out so early! Today's the longest day of the year I think.

Not much going on here. Two more days until the convention trip with my husband-cannot wait!!!

yes summer has its great times too, it is only the extreme heat I do not enjoy. We have a few camping trips planned as well as going to Vermont in August. Lots of fun to look forward to before this season is done.

I hope this finds everyone doing well. A rather busy week just pas an I had another schedule change ~ instead of getting up early, I stay up late now. Hopefully it will be easier to adjust to. Waiting for it to cool off so I can take care of my chores ~ it is 90 here. Way too hot!

Hope everyone is having a good evening. My husband played in a golf tournament today but came home early, he pulled out his back. He bent over picking up a ball and felt something pull. By the time he got home he could barely walk so I brought him to the urgent ortho walk in. They did X-rays and luckily they don't think it is a disc or anything. The Dr prescribed him some steroids and muscle relaxers. He is also out of work for a few days. So now I am just sitting down to watch some tv and relax!

I know just how he feels. Did mine a couple of weeks ago, healing well then picked up something to heavy and back to pain again. I have today off so hoping lots of resting will speed up the healing. Praying your hubby heals quick too.

Monday done, Tuesday next... The countdown to vacation us on, 8 working days to go.

My wife and I had a date night tonight, went out for some excellent Mexican food, with a soft serve chaser after dinner. I had an enchilada and taco, I wish I went with another enchilada. I just love those.
Work will be beckoning to soon.
