Awe!! Bless her heart! I bet she is a little confused about the move. She will love her new home & her new friends though! Gracie was fine this morning. When I went upstairs, she followed me up & did all her normal things! I did let the basement door open for her today just incase a storm rolls through.

Good morning to all my Christmas friends!
That "Christmas feeling" came over me last night as I sat in the living room on my iPad with all the lights off. I just had that overwhelming feeling that the tree should be up and the Christmas lights should be filling each room with their warm glow. I sure do long for that special time of year.

With the boss away yesterday and today, that left me to deal with the every day issues that pop up in my small corner of the company. Nothing major, I just can't get much of my own work done. But that's OK, we deal with it and adjust. But as a special bonus for the day, Michelle just called and she would come meet me for lunch. Yay! Lunch date!

The girls are just keeping me on my toes. Different work & school schedules, everyone coming and going at all times of the day. I think it was easier when they were younger! It's all good though. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if things weren't crazy around here

I understand. My husband often scolds me that I just don't how to unwind and relax when I do get a chance. I like being busy! I'm glad everything is well with you guys. Christmas is coming things are going to get even busier LOL!

They do!! Last winter was supposed to be below average temps & above normal snowfall! I remember a local implement dealer had a radio commercial urging everyone to come in & buy a new snow blower b/c of the terrible winter ahead. They were still airing that commercial in early Feb & hardly anyone had even touched a snow blower last winter. Always made me chuckle!

I think for us they actually did say we'd have a mild winter...but I never trust their forecasts. I just don't want it to be 70 degrees on Christmas Eve/Day again. I should not be sweating on my 2 favorite days of the year and almost want to put shorts on.
