In 2002 we had over 12 inches of snow fall on Christmas Day itself.
I think the worst is getting 6" of snow.. day later it melts off. Then more snow..melt off. Etc..etc..
White Christmases are so magical!Let's just wish for a white Christmas and not a white-out Christmas!

Adi was building a gate for our deck, bless his heart! Mostly for our peanut, but also because it will be nice to have.
Hopefully we'll make a good dent of unpacking before next week comes.

oh my gosh you guys. Long story short there is a sudden issue regarding mum's travel for Monday!! Something to do with a vaccine requirement that is necessary in the country of her connecting flight even though she will only be there for a few hours till she gets her second flight!!!
So if she doesn't get this in time there is a chance she may have to change her flights if allowed on the type of ticket. It's also more than one flight with different airlines. So a lot of hassle and the risk of losing a lot of money if they won't allow date change etc!!!! I am praying hard that she can acquire the vaccine/proof card so she can make the flight on Monday! I am super stressing out at the moment. With all that is going on at the moment I really need this to work out and for my mum to be here as planned.

Well since it was Christmas there were basically no plows out so you had about 10-12 inches of snow on the ROADS lol. I never have seen everything so deserted in my life...between the fact it was Christmas and the foot of snow that nobody cleaned that day.
Try not to worry too much festive. I am sure it will work itself out for you!

All of this White Christmas and snow talk is great! It helps to keep my mind off of the fact that it is nasty hot and humid outside today!
We just ran out to Lowe's and a bookstore and within a minute we were drenched in sweat. I hate this kind of heat and humidity.

Lol..we had drove my F350 up that Christmas and the wife was already mad because the big tires and the sound they made drove her nuts. Yes sir!! ..we drove 20 miles from the hotel to get to her parents house on unplowed roads and we were the 1st on them...Good Times!!
