Hello all! I have been away awhile but just realized as of June 21 I have been with you all for 7 wonderful years!

My 6 year old granddaughter was over here on her first day out of school for the summer, grabbed my Andy Williams Christmas CD, handed it to me and said, "can we listen to this and pretend it's Christmas"?! Of course we can! That's my girl!

Another warm one here yesterday after more overnight rain added to the humidity.
Hopefully no further precipitation will fall today and we can start drying out.
Currently, our back door temperature recorder tell us we stand at 76 degrees here in central NC.

I can't sleep if I'm hot. Personally I'd still rather be warm than be cold but everyone is different .

Remember, you can always put on more layers if you're cold. You can only take off so much before you get arrested.

Found a cool new book today while out messing around before work. It was at place called Ollie's which has all sorta os things and a great book area. This book called Christmas Unwrapping from Armchair Digest for 1.99 350 pages

I am starting to get really excited at this point, 3. More. Days! Tomorrow is an inventory, and is an extended shift, but I am ready for it and should be a quick inventory.
Relaxing, listening to Quo, while my wife was watching The Bachelorette, and whatever is on now.

Really sorry to hear that Maggie is struggling with coughing again. Does the heat/humidity make her cough more? Poor little thing. I'll be keeping both of you in my thoughts.
