Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy 7-11! My mom's birthday is today so we are taking her to brunch. I took off the day and as usual it is turning out to be a beautiful weather day. I wish that I had that much luck with the lottery! :) Another Monday off which makes my week shorter. Got a good nights sleep last night and hope to get a little nap later when we get home (or at least resting that's about as close as I get to taking a nap during daylight hours).
Have a great Monday everyone as we are heading right into the middle of July already!

I hear ya! My brother is a retired deputy sheriff, my nephew is a deputy & I have 3 nephews who are fire fighters! I worry about them all...

I just got some happy news after getting home from my evening shift: the dog we found a couple of weeks ago was adopted! I kept checking their website, he wasn't claimed so I was worried but he was put up for adoption and the website indicates that he was adopted today. I'm just sp happy I'm actually shedding a few tears right now.

Plumber was sure busy, called him around 8:30am but he only came around 1:50pm. He changed the whole valve, ours was such an old model. It cost 195$ but at least we have a working toilet now. So I got to work only around 3pm, a short work day. My strawberry desserts sold fast. Someone made a shortcake but it was all gone by the time I arrived. Now I'm decompressing before going to bed.

Merry Monday!
Busy day here, I have a neurologist appointment this morning. I need to do some food shopping afterward and then I'll be working on my daily chores. My husband and I are going to the Def Leppard concert tonight, they're playing at Jones Beach. It's going to be a beautiful night, the weather is going to be cool and comfy. I'm really looking forward to it, haven't seen them play since the late 80's. Should be a lot of fun!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a great week ahead!!!

I mentioned yesterday that I thought I was ready to come back to work...and I actually was! I'm not too slammed with stuff to catch up on, and it's nice to get back into my old routine. I love love LOVE the mountains, but I love my regular life, too.

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday! Where did the weekend go? (again!) Hope you all had a great one! I stayed with Mom Friday night. She came with me to the lake Saturday for lunch. I brought her back home for her nap & after that we just hung out at the lake with our neighbors. Yesterday our friend played/sang at the bar up the road from our trailer. He is so entertaining. We had so much fun! We stayed at the lake last night so I'm a little sleepy today but it will be ok! More coffee! :p I do love waking up at the lake, just makes it harder to come to work! ;)
