Afternoon all, my first appearance of 2016! I had my 2nd little boy in March so it's been very hectic. I now have a 2 year old running round and a 4 month old needing my attention too so I've not had chance to get on here but since they are both napping at the same time thought I would pop in to say hello to everyone

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's another scorcher on the way, but it's to be expected. We don't usually get any relief from upper 90's - 100's until late September, so I try to not think about it in July & August. That pool is going to be super-clean by the time I get through vacuuming it all summer.

Lunch with mom, the kids and my brother today.

Made a couple of loaves of pumpkin bread and watched "The Bishop's Wife" (original with Cary Grant), just to get in a little Christmas mood. I was sad to hear about the soon-to-be released "R" rated Christmas Movie for this year. You would think that with so much going wrong in our world today, people would try to elevate a season of love and giving rather than try to bring it down.

And I love that pumpkin bread. Unfortunately it loves me too. So much so, that it is still sticking to my tummy from last Fall.

I wonder about them too! Festive's mom was coming for the summer so I'm hoping they are busy enjoying their time together! I'm praying prancer is ok too! xx

Happy Friday everyone! I'm working my last day at this off site command center we set up. I love when nerdy people name things, "command center"! It's a little room with a couple of phones lol. Going camping with my oldest and dearest friends for the weekend and am super excited. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! I actually slept 8 and a half hours last night which is a lot for me. I guess that my body needed it. I'm off work today but not much relaxation is going to be happening. I have a ton of errands to do besides my normal working out/exercising. That's ok though I'd prefer to be busy and doing most of my errands today will allow me to free up time to relax and maybe hike this weekend with my friend.
Have a great TGIF my friends...hard to believe that we are entering the last weekend of July!!!

Brad---have you seen the new Star Trek movie yet? We went last Friday and it was good, as they usually are! With it being the 50th anniversary, DH is buying up all the new ST things he sees...

Listening to Christmas music at work since I'm alone in the office today. Busy weekend tonight & in the morning, but hopefully it will slow down after that. Already planning a spaghetti dinner at home for Saturday night. DD has one more week of freedom before school starts. She's starting middle school, so we're all a little nervous about the change, but we'll make it through!
