Morning all, hope this finds you all well! I am just sat here catching up around the forums. We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Tenerife! It was lovely! I have had my fill of nice weather and now want it to be Autumn ha! the bers are so close now! I am sat thinking of gifts I would like to start buying soon and also what receipes I would like to try out when the temps start cooling down!

I am in the mood for those amazing Fall comfort foods, too. I have been making pumpkin spice, apple cider, and banana nut muffins & bread on the weekends, but I also want to make homemade chili & beer cheese soup soon. Like you mentioned, maybe in a couple weeks when it's cooler!

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday! It's going to be sunny with a high of 79 today. We're currently at 61 degrees. I have the sliding glass door open so the cats could look outside and the cooler air feels wonderful. I think the cats are enjoying it as well. I just put some food out for the birds so they're having fun watching them. Not too much going on here today. I'm going to do some food shopping after my husband and the girls are up and off to work. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. It's Taco Tuesday night for dinner. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
Mmmmmm those muffins and breads sound so good. I've been looking up apple recipes as the season is coming up and we'll probably do a bake sale at work late September.Morning, Claire!

I can't believe it's been two years already!
We are doing pretty well, thanks. I think the only change since we last chatted is that we bought a new house, and moved in a couple of months ago. We are very happy here!
Looking forward to decorating it for Autumn & Halloween, and then Christmas!

Yuck!! I never liked candy corn. But it did remind me of the old Skittle commercials where there is a wave of Skittles spilling out. This was a baby tsunami of candy corn!!5 second rule?
Good luck with the humidity! After a week of rain it feels lovely and fall like here. I'm afraid to look at the weather to see when all of this ends and heat miser returns.
