I saw this photo of a spiderweb afghan in a mail-order catalog, and I'm trying to crochet one:

I found a pattern online for something similar, and I think it's going to work. It's a variation on a circular ripple pattern.

I love it! Thanks for sharing. Hope we get to see the end result, too.

My nephew sent me the trailer to the Blair Witch last night, as if I hadn't seen it already! He's so funny, though-said he wished we could go together. I watched the original Blair Witch Project with him (his first time) and it's still one of his favorites.

Have any Spirit Halloween shops opened in you all's areas? I've seen lots of signs and "Now Hiring" ads, but none are open yet. I guess sometime in September.
