A week from tomorrow, we welcome the 'Bers!!

Good Wednesday everyone! It will be a day of training 2 new employees and a meeting all afternoon, so no time to do my own work. I'll go in an hour early to try to get some things done. Tomorrow will be a day to catch up. Enjoy your day everyone!

Good Morning, Good Morning!!
And really, aren't Milestone Mornings among the best?

Days to the Season: 81
Days to Christmas Day: 123

Yes, Folks.
As of today --- as of this very day --- we have entered the LAST third of our Countdown to Christmas Day 2016.
Can we believe it? (Well, based on past experience, I would say so.)
And our next marker? Well --- that can wait until tomorrow. Let's get over this one, first.


Our very-pleasant-for-August weather continues for a second day with both lower temps and lower humidity. Looks like we will get at least one more day of this before the h&h begins to return.
Right now, we have started off at a rather coolish 69 degrees here in the capital city.


Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!
See you at the 'Pines this evening for a special celebration.
(And it's always special at the 'Pines whenever open house falls on a Milestone Day!)
No telling what Carl has planned but you can bet it will have something to do with the number 3 or the fraction 2/3.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day and Milestone Day! 1 week from today we will be counting down the HOURS to the Bers. Unbelievable. My dentist appointment went well. I will probably stick with him when I go in February for my 6 month checkup. Another beautiful day here. The heat and humidity is going to return though but not as terrible as it was back last week.

Good Wednesday morning everyone!

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Lizzybeth found her VB lunch box - so YAY!!! I have two count 'em two meetings this morning and I'm not looking forward to either of them but at least they're early so I can go on with the rest of my day. We have church this evening and that's about it.

How 'bout y'all? Anything fun going on today?
 
Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day, Happy Hump Day but most exciting, Merry 4 Months Until CHRISTMAS EVE!!! :jump

We went out in convertibles with family last night. Had a nice night, a nice ride - we sat outside on the patio at the restaurant. I think just about everybody except mom had wings or chunks. They were very good! Funny thing is we were using money left over from our family Olympic games (My BIL wouldn't take the money everyone left for him since he brought & made all the chicken that day) Anyway....our bill was $181 something & we had $180 in the kitty! HA! So basically we all ate, drank & only had to leave enough $$ for a nice tip! That's a good night! :)

So is anyone doing anything special today/tonight or tomorrow to celebrate 4 months until Christmas Eve &/or Rudolph Day? I'm going to have to think about that! ;)
