Good Morning, All.

Boldly we move into the last partial week of August, with September now being less than three days away.
(And Hey. That's the month that Christmas Blossoms 2016 begins, you know!)

Days to the Season: 76
Days to Christmas Day: 118

And speaking of things not far away, how about our next Milestone Marker, the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW?
Well, we are now barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from that auspicious point and coming up fast!
(And as you well know, after that both of our counts will number in double digits and we will begin to close on the Season at an accelerated rate.)


Warm and humid again yesterday but not as bad as Friday and Saturday were.
Should be tolerable today but not even suggestive of Fall.
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 74 degrees here in the capital city.

Just finished having morning coffee/tea with mum. This is always the hardest bit. Starting off as any other day and then remembering she leaves shortly.
She has two flights ahead and a long transit. We'll be setting off for airport soon. catch you all later. Eeek trying not to get emotional.

Good Morning MMC! I was a bit bummed about having to go to work today and it being Monday until I came here! What an exciting week ahead as we enter into the Bers! This time next week I'll be pulling out the fall decor! WOW!

Good Monday Morning MMC! This is the big transition week. The Non-Bers to the Bers...Summer vacations/kids off school to work/school again. Summer will soon turn to Autumn. And we will be in the Bers which is the best time of year. It's amazing but we have a few days to go till then. I have a very busy week at work so even though it may seem like a long week...the days will go fast. Looking forward to Thursday which is like New Year's to me.

Good Monday Morning to ya MMC!
I trust everyone had a great weekend. It was a hot one here from Monday til yesterday and today it's supposed to reach somewhere around 90. There's a fickle rumor going around that Thursdays the temps are supposed to be in the low 80's with a bit of rain that will pave the way for temps to stay in the low 80's for the weekend.

I took off on this past Friday to get somethings done to free up my already busy Saturday. So everything got done and it feels good. Now we find ourselves right back at Monday already looking forward to the long weekend ahead of us.

Today was London's first day of college! And she's got her first real job interview at the mall for Victoria's Secret. She didn't apply for a job there but apparently they are owned by the same company that owns Bath & Body where she did apply and that's where they got her information. She's excited about the call back and the prospect of gaining experience and most importantly having her own money!!! I'm excited for all of the above and for the discounts I can rack up! Hey a momma has got to consider that the holidays are approaching and I could save serious cash for gifts for friends and family. LOL
