Good Monday Morning to ya MMC!
I trust everyone had a great weekend. It was a hot one here from Monday til yesterday and today it's supposed to reach somewhere around 90. There's a fickle rumor going around that Thursdays the temps are supposed to be in the low 80's with a bit of rain that will pave the way for temps to stay in the low 80's for the weekend.

I took off on this past Friday to get somethings done to free up my already busy Saturday. So everything got done and it feels good. Now we find ourselves right back at Monday already looking forward to the long weekend ahead of us.

Today was London's first day of college! And she's got her first real job interview at the mall for Victoria's Secret. She didn't apply for a job there but apparently they are owned by the same company that owns Bath & Body where she did apply and that's where they got her information. She's excited about the call back and the prospect of gaining experience and most importantly having her own money!!! I'm excited for all of the above and for the discounts I can rack up! Hey a momma has got to consider that the holidays are approaching and I could save serious cash for gifts for friends and family. LOL

I didn't get enough sleep this weekend (Rollins somehow thought waking up at 5AM on Saturday was acceptable and wanted to play/go outside/eat). Other than the lack of sleep it was good. Welcome to Monday Holiday!

I didn't get enough sleep this weekend (Rollins somehow thought waking up at 5AM on Saturday was acceptable and wanted to play/go outside/eat). Other than the lack of sleep it was good. Welcome to Monday Holiday!

Hopefully he'll get a sleep schedule down soon~
If he slept decent up until that point, he's doing pretty good!

I hope folks are having a great Friday!

I took today off because I had a dental appointment in the morning (last one until February, unless something happens! Hooray for the end of a l-o-n-g string of dental procedures!), and we scored a pair of free tickets to the Red Sox game at Fenway tonight! We're due to have some showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, but it should be fine by game time. Till then, I'm just hanging around the house doing laundry and loafing. It's been a couple years since we've been to Fenway, so this will be a real treat. (Go Sox!)

Hope your dental apt went well & you don't have to go back until Feb! Also hope you had a great time at the game. Fun!!!

Good Morning, All.

Boldly we move into the last partial week of August, with September now being less than three days away.
(And Hey. That's the month that Christmas Blossoms 2016 begins, you know!)

Days to the Season: 76
Days to Christmas Day: 118

And speaking of things not far away, how about our next Milestone Marker, the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW?
Well, we are now barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from that auspicious point and coming up fast!
(And as you well know, after that both of our counts will number in double digits and we will begin to close on the Season at an accelerated rate.)


Warm and humid again yesterday but not as bad as Friday and Saturday were.
Should be tolerable today but not even suggestive of Fall.
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 74 degrees here in the capital city.

Thank you, the appointment went a bit better than expected, actually! And although the Sox lost the game (heck, we were down by 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning! ), spending the evening at Fenway was fun ... it's a great ballpark.
