Good morning everyone!

It's gonna be 90 degrees here in MD today...and it looks like it will be hanging around through the weekend. Which is better than it being rainy or chilly because our church has it's annual picnic on Sunday so I'm actually glad the weather will at least cooperate.

This morning was day 2 of our new morning routine and it was a close one. Lizzybeth over slept even after she told me last night that she set her alarm. She puddled around once she finally did get up and worried about everything under the sun except getting out on time. When she finally started to put things in motion she realized there was a good chance that she was going to get left behind and she went into hyper over drive. The only thing I did do for her was pour her some OJ so she could take her medicine and I put a ponytail in her hair. Other than that I focused on getting myself out on time. London was right along sided me ready to leave when who should run past us and down the drive way??? You guessed it! Only to get part of the way and realize that she left her new lock for her gym locker on her dresser and out of love London ran back to get it for her. We parted ways with several "have a good day". No yelling, no prodding, no worrying about this that or the other. We'll see if day 3 is any better.

At work today I brought in a birthday card and one of my homemade zucchini breads for a coworker. Nothing special about that except me and this particular coworker have not been getting along lately. We aren't rude to one another it's just there was opinions about a situation that we didn't see eye to eye on about a month or so ago and we've stopped being as chatty as we once were. No one remembered that this weekend was her birthday and since she took Friday off today was the last chance our small practice would get to say a Happy Birthday to her all together. I'm hoping that this will begin to mend fences. Tonight is bible study and prayer at church and that's about it.

Everyone have a great day.

Good morning LadyBugKisses!
Hope Lizzybeth settles in to the new morning routine. It can be hard to get back in to the swing of things.
That was a thoughtful thing for you to do for your coworker, I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated!
Hope you have a nice day!

Happy Pinesday, Christmas friends!

I cooked supper for Nancy's mom & dad, since her mom is still unable to get around from the burns she got a couple weeks ago. Mrs. Hilda is pretty famous around here for being an awesome southern-style cook, with the consensus being that she's much better than Paula Dean. She seldom compliments other people's cooking LOL! So you can imagine my surprise when she said that my dinner was a good as what she could do! High praise, indeed! :D

I hope y'all have a happy hump day! :)

Happy Pines Day Brad!
Keeping Nancy's mom in my thoughts ~
Hope you have a nice day!

Good morning everyone ~
Merry Pines Day!
I'm heading out soon, my daughter and I are going to pick up a book that was backordered at her college campus. We're going to stop at Staples afterward for some school supplies. I also promised her we'd go to Chipotle for lunch. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores and make lasagna for dinner. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Well put MerryCarey. I trust your day is going well. Halloween is up and running at Wal-Mart. I have decided to help out at our local "Zoo Boo" running the 28th - 30th of October. I found a great wizard's hat that has glowing eyes and a mouth that moves when you hit a button. Now to find a wizard style robe and beard to go with it. Here is a picture of the hat...View attachment 29406
Pretty neat! You wouldn't even need the beard ... just go as a Hogwarts-style wizard. The hat will tell people you're a wizard. You'll enjoy the Zoo Boo!

The day is going well so far ... but it's early yet! :p

Not sure if you told me, I know HMG told me Maggie hates being wet, rain, baths etc...what about Gracie?
Gracie does ok with it. Rain doesn't bother her at all. She'll come in the house drenched if it's raining outside - makes no attempt to come in or hang out in the garage. She gets so excited when we arrive at the groomers house, Kelly has never said that she is a problem...but I know she doesn't like the blow dryer!!!
I can give her a bath in our tub & she doesn't make much of it - she doesn't seem to love it, especially water over her face, but she does ok.
What about Rollins?

Woke up to a nice gray, rainy day! I imagine my students will be horribly bummed because the rain means they can't go outside, but I'll gladly take any weather that is outside the norm for boring Arizona heat!
Enjoy your rainy day!!! It's a nice break sometimes! :)

Way to go Brad ~ Score!!! :D Praying Mrs. Hilda heals quickly!

Have fun at Chipotles! Lasagna sounds good!
Have a great day!

They did that here in August. I assume to get it out of the way before school starts. Hope you're having a good day!
The day is going pretty well, so far, thank you!

I wish they had finished up construction HERE before school and college opened! Oh, well, it's supposed to be done Friday. (Emphasis on supposed, mind you.)

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day! I love that it's hump day already! Oh, and I was told this morning that it's also National Beer Lovers Day! LOL! @snowflake22 break out the Leinies! ;)

My afternoon off yesterday was nice. Gracie & I went out to the lake. Hubby & I went out for Mexican for supper. Then we had to stop at Moms b/c Miss Emma made me some really nice birthday treats... pumpkin bars with cream cheese icing, some spicy cheese dip, & she gave me a jar of her home canned peach pie filling, and a nice card. She's so thoughtful! :) Of course she had a gag gift in there which involved a green tomato & my dads false teeth. That girl!!

Thanks HMG...I made him some chicken and rice and he ate that so hopefully it is a short lived thing.

What about Rollins?
Interesting. Well the first time it rained and we went out he stayed out a couple of minutes and then flew back inside. I gave him a bath and he was trying to get out lol. He didn't want any part of it. But afterwards he was calm (after I dried him some). Nitro would throw himself all over the place like it was poison. I don't think Rollins is as bad as he was but he's not a fan of water either.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! First Pines of the 'Bers! Driving to work today took me an extra 15 minutes because it's the first day of school. I don't mind. I love seeing the kids walking to school with their parents. Can you guys believe we're already 1 week into September? To me, at least it seems it's slowed a little from the summer. I am looking forward to the NFL tomorrow. Everything is exciting this time of year! No wonder we love these months the most!
Have a great Pines Day everyone!
Hope you have a great day Edge...these months need to slow down!

They say it's good to start them young w/ a bath, etc. so they get use to it. We took Gracie to the groomer when she was around 4 months old, just for a nail trim & a brush out to get her use to going to the groomer. Not sure if that made a difference, but she loves Kelly!
I hope Rollins adapts well to getting a bath!! :)

Yes! I love seeing all your contributions. Thanks for the sneak peak and I look forward to the Blossoms. I caught a few glimpses this weekend when I was hunting. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Ryan. I get a great joy from photographing all this stuff, too. It's amazing how the sights of our favourite time of year staring to bud in front of our very eyes makes us so good feel, isn't it?
