Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Sunday Morning MMC! If you're an NFL fan this is like Christmas morning. This guy calls up on the radio every year on the 1st Sunday of football and says that. I think that this is why I love the 'Bers more than anything...all of these amazing little steps that we take through them. From September 1 then to Labor Day now to the NFL being back on Sundays...it just gets better and better. Anyway, I have to teach Rollins that his bed is not a toy because he barks at and drags it around the house. Well...other than that I got a lot done Saturday so Sunday afternoon it's football time!

I'm feeling a little wobbly this morning about Isaac's first full day of school.
Last week was only half days so it still felt like nursery. I know he will be okay .

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

What a long, hot, busy weekend! I got out and did all the edging Saturday morning, and that's a job! We're on a 1 acre corner lot with curbing and sidewalks, so I was out there till early afternoon. Then Jacob and I went hunting, sitting in the 95° sun with little to show for it! Then I went home to finish cleaning up from all the edging. After all that, I soaked in the pool till I was all shriveled up.

After church and lunch with mom yesterday, I went hunting again. I don't typically like to hunt on Sunday, but it was the last day of this short "first" season. Anyway, it was another 95° day with no breeze and no birds. Whew! Back in the pool for me!

I watched most of the 9/11 name-reading before and after church. 15 years ago, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Bless their hearts. This old world deserves some peace, seriously.

It's supposed to cool to the upper 80's this week!!

It's nice and cool at the shore. May not get to sit on the beach but at least we will be able to do the boardwalk. So glad it feels like fall

[Holiday]

It's been flipping over on the night of October 31st the past couple of years~ So I watch Halloween movies & hand out candy that Hallowedn night, and turn it to Hallmark & fall asleep to Christmas movies! They announce the schedule this Tuesday on Home & Family. I can't wait for the countdown to the countdown to Christmas!!

I have Home & Family on now & just at the time I was reading this post, they were talking about tomorrows show announcing the countdown schedule!

Pleasant evening everyone! I wanted to send a long over due hello to you all from Connecticut. In about an hour or two i will start my drive back to Maryland from my weekend visit up here.

I think about everyone, the site and everything related to Christmas all of the time. It's even more special to me, that I have a special friend that loves Christmas as much as I do. And that folks, is a very, very welcome Change in my life.

I hope everyone is doing well, in good health and has been good!!!!

Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas begins October 28th at 10:00 PM this year. 19 new movies! And one New Years Movie too.

Did I hear right there are going to be some new Thanksgiving movies this year too? So exciting!!

Whew!! Another long but fun day!! Was hard saying goodbye to everyone tonight as the party was breaking up. Hopefully it won't be 14 years before we see them again. Now to try and get some rest before heading home in the morning.
