Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

Was hoping to catch up here but time for work is quickly approaching so I must sadly leave you. I sure miss when I could get on through tap a talk, that was so easy on my cell phone.

Thanks for all the suggestions and offers of help. i too have a cedar chest in the living room and my son thought I was daft for just standing there staring at it this morning. LOL...anyway I think buying a shorter tree to put on it may just be the way we will go this year.

How fun! The sky is so full of wonder. I hope he gets some good shots tonight then. wish him luck for me.

Yes he loves it. At first we were worried it was too big . It is a huge one for beginner's astronomy so basically bigger than him LOL but it is worth it. He has a deep love for space and I sense this is the beginning of what his future could hold.

Happy Friday my friends!!!

It all week but it finally decided to show up. Yes it's Friday. Totally beautiful weather this morning as I took a walk to the 7-11 by my office to pick up a coffee. I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I get to join my fellow church members on our bi-weekly Seventy on Saturday door hanger campaign where we go through neighboring areas and put up door hangers telling folks about our church and ministry. Only takes about an hour of our morning, it's fun, exercise and encouraging to each other. Afterwards my friend Hannah and I are going to have a late breakfast either at Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans. She's been having a rough transition into her new job and she's been very emotional and so I wanted to do something with her to get her mind off of things even if it's only for a little while. She's thinking of quitting the choir as well because she's overwhelmed and I'm hoping I can convince her to just take a break for a month or so until she feels more comfortable with her new job and what not. Wish me luck.

How is everyone else planning on spending their weekend? Any fun plans? However you spend it do it with joy in your heart and stay blessed.

Well, the cool weather just keeps holding off and we had another warm and humid one yesterday. The weather service says it should be better today. I hope so, as that lawn really needs mowing!
Right now, we are at 71 degrees here in central NC.

Happy Friday everyone! We are doing a lot today so I decided to check in early. I made the mistake of teaching the baby the song down by the Bay yesterday and that's all she wants to sing now.

How old is your daughter? My daughter will be three next month and our 3 favorite CDs are Christmas CDs. Last Wednesday we were at the playground in the afternoon and she says, out of nowhere, "We will have to bring our CDs to the playground so we can dance around to them." I was thinking, what made you think of that? We don't even dance that much! Kids are great, aren't they?

Ack! My lawn mower failed me again! Now I have to order a steering column bushing. This will be the third or fourth time I've had to replace that aggravating part!
