Tomorrow is the 100 day until Christmas mark....when all the seasonal things start to come about and start to show up.

My friends, we are at the doorstep to the best time of the year. Take it in and enjoy it! It all ends way too fast.

TGIF, and Happy Milestone Day, Christmas friends!

100 Days! I can't believe we're back here again!

As I mentioned above, the steering column on my mower has to have a bushing replaced AGAIN. They make that part out of soft brass, and it wears out every other year. And it's no picnic to replace. At least the last cut I made squared-up the yard, so it doesn't look too crazy.

My brother is having surgery on his sinuses today, so I'd appreciate prayers and positive thoughts for him.

Sending good thoughts for your brother. And that sucks about the lawn mower. Aren't parts you bought under warranty or does the warranty run out quickly? Enjoy this Milestone day!

And yes, you read that right.
Christmas Day is precisely ONE HUNDRED DAYS from this date.
And starting tomorrow, BOTH of our counts will be in DOUBLE-DIGITS!
(Ah! We have come so far so fast, haven't we?)


Well, the cool weather just keeps holding off and we had another warm and humid one yesterday. The weather service says it should be better today. I hope so, as that lawn really needs mowing!
Right now, we are at 71 degrees here in central NC.

Good morning MMC! Merry Milestone Day!!! 100 Days Until Christmas! Woo Hoo!! And HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

We had so much fun last night. I picked up Mom & Emma, brought them to our house, turned on Christmas music, Mom crocheted & Emma went to town decorating our house for Fall! (I helped her too...) I was in a rut - I put the same decorations in the same spots every year. She had new idea's, put things in different places than I ever would have. But now she used all my decs & I have spots empty where I normally put things so I guess I have to buy more. Oh darn!

Sounds like an excuse for shopping!! Pick me up!

Adi has been having fun experimenting with the night sky & his new camera lens, too.

The best night sky I've ever seen was this Summer when we went to a friend's parents' cabin in the woods. It got so dark at night that you could see everything. I had never, ever seen so many stars, you even saw "clouds of stars", it was amazing. Tried taking pictures but I really don't have the right lens for that.

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Happy 100 days till Christmas! Unbelievable huh? It really hits you today. Someone said to me they can't believe that they saw on t.v. it's 100 days and they are "already" counting down. I was going to say I've been counting down since 365! Anyway, I'm glad it's Friday! Going to get a pizza burger for dinner. Delicious. Should be a fun weekend. Not too much crazy stuff planned and I got ahead on my homework so I won't be spending hours and hours on it Saturday and Sunday!

YESSSSS!! I think to the outside world 100 days sounds like a long time. But, at MMC we know it will be PACKED with fun! 100 days of Holiday fun!!!
