Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning ~
It's going to be cloudy today with a chance of a thunderstorm, highs near 80 degrees. There was a local craft fair that I wanted to go to, if it's not cancelled due to the weather. Not too much else going on, just going to take it easy today. Maggie has been so restless at night, I've been up with her a lot. Between the lack of sleep and my migraines, I just haven't been feeling well lately. I finished putting most of my Autumn decorations out, I'll post some pictures in Snowflakes thread when I get the chance. I still have to decorate outside, maybe I'll get to that today.
I hope everyone is well and has a beautiful day <3

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Week 2 of the NFL already. Hmm the weeks do go by fast even in the Bers but I think September has gone at least a little slower than the summer months for sure. It's starting to hit me that I Need to continue getting my Halloween watching going more consistently. I always start way too late (mid-October) and then wind up watching Halloween shows I didn't get to see till around Thanksgiving. Today's a good day to get really going on them cause I don't have a lot to do. Well Rollins thinks otherwise, he's up and ready to play.

Merry Sunday

I've been fighting of a virus for the last few days. Yesterday was particularly bad. Starting to feel better I think. Hope I can get through work today - I am sure I will.

Spent all of yesterday on sofa just resting. Watched another movie off my autumn watch list. October Sky - great movie. It's not about the season but the setting and mood makes it a good choice.

Big football Manchester United match on today so the boys are looking forward to it. I will have to miss it but will catch some NFL with them when I get in. Probably for the best as football overload these days LOL

Must dash to work now. Have a great Sunday.

Festive I sure hope the worst of your virus is over. Spending a day resting and watching movies is a good way to recuperate. Hope you make it through your work day ok and enjoy the football tonight.

Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

I'm watching the news about NYC this morning. What is wrong with some people?

We spent yesterday taking Elizabeth to dance and shopping. We finally got home, then had to leave to go to a birthday party. I finally got the mower fixed AGAIN, and I still haven't had time to actually cut the grass. LOL Maybe tomorrow.

Church this morning, then lunch at mom's.

I don't think you can call yourself a human if you attempt something like in New Jersey and New York. It's just very sad.

We spent most of today at an end of summer cookout at my wife's uncles house. We may take a trip to Silver Bell farm tomorrow. They just opened for the season today.

hey beautiful people!!!
Germany is greeting
We are in the double digits of days leading to christmas.....and today seems to be Kandice and my start into the christmas season.
Been watching the first ep of The Great Christmas Light Fight and are now watching a Christmas Light Switch on show from some Disneyland....dunno which one.....which features, Else, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf.
Kandice has started to handcraft seating cards for Christmas Dinner......she also wants to do menu cards!
Today will be a total christmas day....nothing but christmas shows and christmas movies!!!! The weather plays along......until Thursday we had unusual hot weather for mid September.....around the mid 80s!!!! Now it´s around 70degrees and rainy!!!!!!

what do you think of this idea to create a fake fireplace? We don´t have one...so that would be nice to a better place to put the stockings in!!!

I will only have to find a way to get something in there that looks like a fire

Really comfortable temperatures here yesterday. Coupled with low humidity, it made for a very nice day indeed.
Today should be similar (although the humidity feels up a bit) and we are entering our brief nice period between the heat and the chill which is all too short here.
Currently, we observe 74 degrees on our back door thermometer.

Well because I watch them too late (Halloween) I wind up going deep into November watching more which holds off me from watching Christmas till almost the same day you do. Changing that this year.

Happy Sunday!
A foggy, brisk morning-currently at 49
degrees. Working our way back up to 80 degrees & sunshine today.
Harlowe had a rough evening yesterday, and we were up for part of the night with her. She was agitated. We will probably have to take her to the vet this week, hope her secondary vet can work her in tomorrow-she has a wound she won't leave alone. Worried about infection.
Today will be keeping an eye on her, doing laundry, and watching seasonal shows & football .
