Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning, everyone!

It's Friday. I'm back on the movie set. I had to be here for 8:30, yet the student actors won't arrive until about 11:30. Apparently, they are at another set until then. Hopefully this will give me some time to further my preparations and ensure that I understand the Math, which can be tricky at certain levels for me.

It has been a rainy morning here in Ottawa. No complaints, though, we needed a bit of precipatation. On Monday, I was here until about 11pm. It was far too late. Today, I am really hoping to be out of her around 6pm. We'll see. I like helping, but I don't like my workout schedule being too disrupted.

In two days, we will be reaching one of our major milestone. 2/3 until Christmas Day. It may seem a ways away still, but it really is when Christmas begins to blossom in front of our very eyes.

Well, I should get back on to the whole Math thing. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Autumn morning!

I was glad to see both you & Har are feeling better! (I'm still chuckling at that pic of Har...)

Weekends plans - I'm kind of excited b/c this weekend I have Sunday night with Mom. I have been staying the last few Friday nights & though I don't mind, that only gives me 1 sleep at the lake & the weekend seems shorter than it already is. Anyway - I'll be heading to the lake this afternoon. No real plans tonight. Probably go out for supper with the neighbors. Tomorrow there is a bicycle poker run at the lake we will partake in. Supposed to be a beautiful day! Probably a bonfire tomorrow night. My Buckeyes have a bye week, so can't watch them! Sunday we have no plans other than I'll be spending the night at moms. I'm sure we'll find SOMETHING to do for Sunday Funday!
I have a feeling Jim will be spending a lot of time in the fields this weekend so I'll be a "single" girl. Ha ha!

I was going to spend the weekend with my cousin, who was coming into town from Minneapolis. But, something came up with her kids and she cancelled. Which ends up working out good, because Har and I both have relapsed some. I'm still waiting to hear back from her vets.
My Mom, a retired RN, (and some friends) encouraged me to schedule an appointment with my doctor for next week to play it safe. Well, I called this morning and they put me through to a triage nurse, who asked me a ton of questions, and then said I needed to be seen within 12 hours. So, I have an appointment this afternoon-quickest I've ever gotten in at this office, sheesh.
So, we will be resting, possibly seeing Har's vets, and watching some Fall and Halloween shows!

I was going to spend the weekend with my cousin, who was coming into town from Minneapolis. But, something came up with her kids and she cancelled. Which ends up working out good, because Har and I both have relapsed some. I'm still waiting to hear back from her vets.

We don't have too many plans...my daughter has a soccer game today at 4. My anniversary is on Sunday...so my husband and I took Monday off, we are going to go out to lunch and relax while the kids are in school.

My eyes about popped out when I saw them on the menu. I knew I HAD to get them! They were very good. Kind of like mozzarella sticks, but smaller bites & better. I will get them again the next time we go there. YUM!

You need to go visit Snowflake and have her take you to the hollow. Their's don't have as much breading and just melt in your mouth. They were definitely the best I had while I was there. I'm drooling just thinking of them.

TGIF!! Happy Friday. Just working today and my daughter has a soccer game at 4. Tomorrow night we are having a little festival in our town and they have fireworks so I may take my youngest daughter, we'll see. I took Monday off with my husband. It is our anniversary on Sunday so we are going to go out to lunch and maybe go to a local winery. Hope you all have a great day! October will be here before you know it..I am hoping it goes by slowly!

Well the cat has been let out of the bag...it's Friday! I feel like I've been waiting for this day to arrive since Sunday night, lol. We made it everyone. So tomorrow our office will be at our supervisor's home off the Chesapeake Bay and the weather is promising to be just delightful. We are to bring our favorite family/friend and our favorite food. I'm bringing Lizzybeth (London is bowing out) and the bake beans I made for my church picnic a few weeks back. They were a huge hit and it's a simple dish to make. Sunday church practically all day. It's also my bday so I'm gonna treat myself to a special dinner - I have an idea of what I'm making but I'll finalize things today.

My coworker Alex made me a fruit tart for an early celebration. Everyone have a great day and a wonderful weekend! Be blessed.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I think I satisfied that maniac consulting engineer yesterday, so I'm back to doing my regular customer service. Thank goodness! I was getting a bit out of sorts LOL.

It was overcast this morning, but it's clearing up now. It's supposed to be in the 90's again this weekend, but the extended forecast shows sunny and 80° next Saturday! I'm cleaning up the boat, refreshing the tackle box, and oiling the reel! (I hope)

Happy Friday! I'm feeling a little bit better. It's supposed to be pretty warm today and start to finally feel like fall this weekend. I don't ever remember it being this warm in September when I was a kid.
Before work tonight I am going to clean up some of the leaves in the back yard so that it is less to do later in the season. I think I might even do it once a week and occasionally pay Carolina to help me.
