Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

What a lazy weekend. I didn't do a thing Saturday, and I can't stand that. I should have been mowing the lawn, or working on my business, or something.

My brother and I went to see a movie matinee yesterday, Suicide Squad, while Nancy went with her sister to see Bridget Jones. I really liked our movie. Nancy said hers was ok, but the language was awful. It's strange to me that some movies, that might otherwise be good, are ruined my unnecessary profanity. Oh well.

Lol Brad!! You can probably still swim in November. Its funny because I see more pools up north than I ever saw my whole life living down South. 3 months swimming time in the north vs. 6+ months in the South.

Good morning MMC! I'm late checking in as I stayed with Mom last night! It was so chilly, dark & rainy this morning, cozy at Moms, it was hard to leave to come to work, but alas, here I am! I'll try to catch up around here....

Ooops, I would not want it to be the first day of Spring of either year. Spring means more heat.
Thanks for the correction. That is what happens when high school students destroy your brain power! lol

Anyway, the new laptop is great. I finally have most of my files and programs back up and running.

They are calling for cooler temperatures next week so that is something to be excited about. I was outside mowing the grass yesterday evening while listening to Christmas music to try to stay cool.

Thank you Holiday! Maggie and I did pretty well last night, she slept straight through until 4:00am. That was good for her. I don't have too much planned this weekend. There is a craft fair on Sunday that I'm really looking forward to, I hope to pick up some new decorations. They always have lots of Christmas decor as well as Autumn. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

There are quite a few troubleshooting videos on Youtube on how to fix the Keurig, I have used them to fix my wife's a few times.

Thanks! That's good to know! Hope I don't need them!! But I have 2 keurigs (one at home, one at the lake) eventually, I'm sure I will have another issue...)

Another day at home with JP, he is a lot better than yesterday, but very run down. I am going to work tomorrow come heck or high water.
I have started wearing my Halloween shirts this week, I only have a handful compared to my Christmas shirts. They will get plenty of wears from now until Halloween. This was my shirt today, just an awesome one my wife says is just perfect for me.

I hope everyone is well and in good spirits. Woke up feeling a little light headed. Hope I am not coming down with anything again Ugh.

I am looking forward to an easy going day. There is a big football match on TV at mid day but I may leave the boys to it and watch a movie or read and make brownies.

Merry Saturday!
I was just outside with Maggie, we have some showers passing through. It's supposed to clear up and be sunny with a high of 73 degrees. Not too much going on here today, I have to do some food shopping and then I'll be working on some chores around the house. My parents are coming for dinner. We're going to barbecue but we will most likely eat inside. My husband covered the pool a few days ago. I don't like looking at that pool cover but I think it was time.

I was looking through my Christmas library yesterday, which I usually sync to my phone right after Halloween. (Before then, I listen to Amazon Prime Christmas or Kringle Radio or CDs in the car.) This year it simply ISN'T going to fit onto my phone. And there's darn little that I'm willing to un-check from my sync! I'm seriously considering a new phone, as I have an older 16 GB model ...

I certainly am! I also have the last weekend in October off work - a three day Halloween weekend.

Nice! I've got a Monday off in October too. Looking forward to it...got too spoiled having all those days off in the spring and summer!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another hot one here today with a high of 86. There is relief in sight though. It's just a matter of if it will get here on Monday or Wednesday. Monday sounds better to me. Not much going on here today. Just going to watch some football. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Lol..I never got sent anywhere I can actually say I appreciated. Summer vacations in Iraq..winter vacations in Afghanistan..winter in Bosnia..lol What about spring in Japan or Italy?...

Yeah, I never got Hawaii or either coast. But I did manage Iceland, 3 tours in ND, 3 in Omaha, Montana... you get the picture... lol

Back to rain all day . We had a nice few days of dry weather and a few weeks where it only rained for part of the day. It's also quite chilly. Our new fire arrived today so looking forward to that! The other one stopped working last winter.

I am making spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread for dinner so I better go check on it....
