Afternoon buddies,
Hope you are having a good day.

Back to rain all day . We had a nice few days of dry weather and a few weeks where it only rained for part of the day. It's also quite chilly. Our new fire arrived today so looking forward to that! The other one stopped working last winter.

I am making spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread for dinner so I better go check on it....

I'd say so!! 86 yesterday and its 61 out there right now with a pretty decent breeze blowing. Brr!!

Yeah made the ground really dry!

Not a problem here, since we got ten inches of rain, last Wednesday. That would be 100 inches of snow in one storm. Thankfully, there isn't enough moisture to generate that mess during the Winter.

Thanks CGY, cooking has been one of my passions ever since I was a little girl. I was always in the kitchen with my father who was an excellent cook. He was happiest in the kitchen. Anyone passing through would be offered a meal before they left

It's a very chill Autumn day here! Mid 60's and cloudy, breezy.
Harlowe & I got a good night of rest.
We have been watching some fun 80's TV. Facts Of Life & a spooky fun episode of Silver Spoons. And in between, switching back & forth to QVC.

It's funny to read some of you all talking about how chilly the weekend was!! It was SO HOT yesterday with no breeze, we couldn't even sit outside! LOL! Today is a different story, though the sun is trying to come out now.

My best friends hunt for a wedding dress was very successful. She didn't get the exact one she originally loved, she found one she loved more. We will go back in a couple months to start looking for bridesmaid dresses. Tomorrow I work in the morningand then am off to my fiancés uncles house for an end of summer bbq. I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend. Goodnight everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great Monday! Got errands and chores done this morning. Then took a nap and was thankfully woken up by a phone call or else I think I would still be sleeping. I've been looking online for savory apple recipes for a sale at work this Friday and I'm thrilled to have found a chicken salad sandwiche recipe with apples and dried cranberries, and a coleslaw with apples. I think that's easy enough to make and serve.
