Christmas Countdown - 2016

I work about 2 weekends a month. It's not so bad though! Hope your day goes quickly Edge! Enjoy the time you do have-a very happy last day of September!

Yeah you're used to it . Actually the once a year I work a weekend day I usually stress about it all week and then it comes and goes and was no big deal...actually is nice because nobody around to bother me...do my work that I need to do and go home. Have a good weekend!!!

Good Morning to you Holiday....Yes gonna watch some chrimbo movies...My parents is coming over for dinner tomorrow night so yeah sure will be doing some cooking...I am planning Rump steak,chips,mushrooms..Followed by Homemade cheesecake

Just waiting for the wife to get home so we can head out for a rainy night at the Big E. It will probably keep some of the crowds away. It was a relaxing day so far.

Happy Friday everyone! I feel a call to the pediatrician will be in my future. Carolina was up at 2am and felt very warm. She wouldn't let me take her temperature but I was certain she had a fever. She still feels very warm.
It is supposed to be a very dreary and rainy day so I guess this is the best day for her to not be feeling well so snuggles and chores it will be before I head to work at 2. Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday and a great last day of September!

Well we had a few creepy clown sightings here on Long Island. I know these sightings are probably just pranks but I'm afraid someone is going to end up taking it too far. A couple of local school districts were on alert after clowns were spotted carrying bats. There were also reports of groups of clowns approaching cars. I have three girls, I have to worry about this nonsense. Seriously, what is wrong with people? It's annoying.

Thank you HMG! She went to bed fine for my mom while I was at work so I'm hoping she sleeps all night.

As I've said through out the years, it feels as though my inner christmas alarm clock goes off on the 01st of October ! I wake up knowing it is the 01st and can almost hear the sleigh bells. I think of it as the pre season to the season. It's a personal milestone.

It is the start of everything that we love so much about this time of year. The leaves are turning and falling. Pumpkins are arriving. The wind is fragrant with autumn's scent and brooding with a haunting eeriness as Halloween takes centre stage. Slowly Christmas starts casting it's spell.

Wishing each of you a happy October and build up to all the festivities to follow.
