Happy October!!!

We had a great time at the Big E last night, it was chilly and rainy, but it keeps the crowds low. We actually got to see everything for a change, ate too much junk, and spent more money than anticipated. We did see the Budweiser Clydesdales, and heard a bit of the Lee Brice concert, I know nothing of country music, but he was there.
We will do one of our fall traditions tomorrow, apple picking at the local orchard.
Tuukka scared me tonight he got his head stuck in the slat of the chair, he was dangling by his neck. I was saving him but the poor thing was so scared, he was scratching and clawing, but I was able to get him out and he just stayed next to me for the next hour. He is happy and safe now.
FYI, Kohl's.com has men's Christmas shirts for sale, I already picked up a couple.

good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

Wow, October already. In one week it will be Thanksgiving, glad I already have my turkey.
It is a cool wet weekend here, typical fall day.
My neighbourhood has been transformed in one day. So sad that all these beautiful trees have to be cut down because of the emerald ash borer. We have lived here for 20 years and watched these trees grow.

hopefully those are the only ones we have to loose.

Apple's to finish processing today after church so I can get some apple pie filling canned.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Well I had a weird Saturday with Rollins waking me up at 4:30 AM, then going for my run, then working for 5 hours. It was only 12:30PM and I was wiped out for the day lol. I didn't go back out after that when I got home. Did some work/exercise around the house and then just tried to keep my eyes open. The dreary weather added to how I felt I think. Ahh well today I'm gonna get my errands done and then watch some Halloween shows. But again I don't see the sun...but hopefully coming up this week we will!

Good morning everyone. Glad we are finally in October! We are staying busy around here. My oldest son just starting his first job this past week and he is working a lot next week. So he is starting to understand what being busy is all about. lol
The temperatures have been much better around here. Though we are suppose to hit 80 mid-week. But then back into the 60s again.

We watched Avengers Civil War. I loved the first Avenger movie but the sequels, not so much. Today we'll watch Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping (cause I want to watch a goofy movie) and David will watch The Conjuring 2 alone, while I'll watch something on DVR.

Happy to read that you had such a perfect day at your cousin's wedding. And that little Harlowe seems to be back full of energy (maybe a little too much). Hope you'll have a great Sunday too.

That's too bad about the movie, Adi said the same thing about Avengers Civil War.
I love Paul Rudd, so I tolerated it better Ha

A pretty nice day yesterday with reduced temps and humidity. No rain, either.
Currently, this second half of the Weekend has commenced at 65 degrees here in the heart of Panther Country.
(And here's hoping the Panthers can begin to improve their furtunes after a less than stellar start of 1-2.)

Good Sunday morning! Woke up not too early but not too late, so I have time to get plenty of things done before midday and then can enjoy the afternoon watching movies and just relaxing. It's 8am but it's so cloudy and dark that we have to turn lights on in the apartment. Have a fantastic Sunday everyone!

Busy is good. I'm glad we're in October too. Wow 80 again? We really have shut off the heat so suddenly this year after a long hot/humid summer it's like someone turned the light switch off suddenly and we dropped consistently 15-20 degrees all at once for the last 10 days.

Thank you both! We were married in Frankenmuth and go back every year to celebrate. It's about an hour and a half drive from Detroit, truly a blessing to be that close to Bronner's.
