However, I'm so blessed to have a job to go to each and everyday that I will have to find other ways to enjoy the changing of the seasons. I think I will put an autumn wallpaper up on my computer screen.

Wish I could be there to see it, and to drive to Thurmont to the orchard for apples and cider!

I do exactly what you thought of ... I have a different wallpaper for each season for my office computer. I have a beautiful autumn scene there now, but will soon switch over to a jack o'lantern with a bowl of candy corn in the foreground. I also put a few seasonal deco items on and around my desk. My co-workers are amused by this, but I know they enjoy it, too.

Good Morning, MMC!!! Its going to be a warm day here with a high near 80 degrees. My youngest niece and Ella stayed over last night. Ella slept most of the evening so I knew I was in trouble and sure enough, come 5am she was barking like crazy to be let out. So I got up and took her on a walk. Then brought her back in and tried to get her to go back in her cage. She was having none of that. Just ran around the apartment wanting me to chase her. So I gave in and played with her awhile and started laundry. As soon as I sat down on the recliner though, she hopped up on my lap and went back to sleep. I think she was laughing while she did it too. Lol!! I think a nap is in order after her and my niece go home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Greetings Made582. The day here will be seasoned with a little moisture, but nice none-the-less. I have a multipo who has the habit of waking me around 2AM (when I am home) for a nightly stroll. Luckily (so far) I have never had a problem going back to sleep. Have a fun day and enjoy your well deserved nap.

I like to at least have the tree up, lights & garland on before Thanksgiving. Takes some of the pressure off of T-day weekend AND I get to enjoy the tree & lights longer! :) Good luck talking your wife into it! :D

I had a busy day on the homestead, lots of cleaning. Starting with the thoughts of holiday decorating, and stuff that needed to be done. I never got some of things done I wanted to today like recording the Boston Pops/Arthur Fiedler Christmas CD I picked up a few weeks ago onto the computer. I need to start working on my Christmas playlists since I switch right after Halloween.
Please keep our old man Merlin (cat) in your thoughts and prayers. He will be 18 in February, but he seems to be losing control of some bodily functions. My wife got him as a kitten 6 months after we started dating, so he has been with us pretty much since the beginning.
