Thank you Holiday...Lentil soup is Yummy...If you want recipe i will PM you it-holidays-
Sure! It's definitely getting to be soup season! :) Thanks!

Morning Edge. Don't you just love the two-digit midget time frame? I love Thanksgiving. First biscuits and gravy w/eggs, then football, then preparation for the big meal, then football and finally consuming dinner, dying on the couch and of course... football. So between the Vikings/Lions, Cowboys/Redskins and the Steelers/Colts, which do look forward to the most (currently).
Enjoy your Wednesday and the rest of the week.

Thanksgiving might be the 2nd best day of the year.

Good Morning, Folks.

So near now it's not even funny.
Our next Milestone is practically on the doorstep. The LAST one of the 2016 Season Countdown, we might add!

Days to the Season: 39
Days to Christmas Day: 81

And when we say "practically on the doorstep" we really mean it because THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW we will enter the FINAL TEN PERCENT of our Season count -- the HOME STRETCH point to the start of Christmas Season 2016.
(Then, of course, it's on to Christmas Day!)

Still rather cool here for early October. Dry too. Think I will get that lawn mowed today if rain does not return. (And hopefully, that will be the last time it will be needed until spring.)
We have started off this mid-week day at 64 cloudy degrees as we continue to monitor Hurricane Matthew and its intentions. This morning's track shows an eastward jog by Saturday. I hope that holds!

OK. Since it is 'Pines Day once again, our friendly activities director (also simply known as Carl) will be ready and waiting at the front entrance with the usual complimentary fired twinkie and glass of sweet southern iced tea for all guests.
The entertainment? Anybody's guess (as usual). But it's bound to be interesting if nothing else!
Hope to see one and all there this evening.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends.
(And a Particularly Perfect Pine Day as well!)
Thanks Crown! Hope it continues to jog eastward!

I've heard rumours that Carl has something fixed in bright fall colours. I'm hoping he doesn't forget about his Canadian friends to the north. I mean, why shouldn't we have TWO Thanksgiving celebrations at the 'Pines? There will be plenty of turkey, stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes, and other deliciousness in Canada this weekend. It would be great to celebrate with everyone at our favourite midweek hangout!

Of course, it wouldn't be complete without washing everything down with a glass of sweet southern iced tea, and a fired twinkie for desert.

Speaking of - I have Monday off work. We should celebrate then with you too! A Thanksgiving meal on Monday? Hmmm... :)

I will! We probably won't have results for at least a few days, since it's right before the weekend & the sample will have to be sent to a lab. UGH - makes me nervous! o_O
That is nerve-wracking,
Oh, I bet it's so pretty! Your 1st Autumn in your new home! :)
...thank you! It is!
I am very excited!! :D

Good afternoon .... Was at the grocery store last night and they had the holiday creamers on sale so of course I had to splurge. My kids love to add a little of the frosted cookie creamer to their hot chocolate and I picked up the peppermint mocha for me :) Another bonus yesterday, received my LTD catalog in the mail. Enjoyed flipping through that last night and marking off pages of items I liked.

Hope everyone has a great day!
