We have family and friends in town staying with us, so we plan to go out for dinner, sample some harvest beer, go to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, watch some seasonal movies, have a bonfire, and grill out. Should be lots of fun! What are your plans for the weekend?

Sounds like a fab weekend ahead snowflake22....Have Fun!....Well tonite i am gonna watch The Conjuring 2 by myself as my wife is a bit freaky about that one lol...Then we have a Halloween party to go to tomorrow night so looking forward to that..I am dressing up as Michael Myers lol...Soo spooky weekend ahead snowflake22...Enjoy your evening ahead my friend:)

Merry Friday!

I hope this finds everyone well! Although I am not able to keep up on here of late, I think and pray for all of you and your families.

Busy weekend ahead for me, including the dreaded lawn work. Lots of leaves to rake up from the nut trees and lots of nuts on the ground, too. Messy work as they are black walnut trees. The zucchini plants are still blossoming as are the eggplants. The sheets that are used for covering the plants during a frost are drying over the fence where the eggplants are located, so hopefully the deer won't be eating any of the new blossoms. Also have a lot of store stuff to take care of, too.

Well I'm at the emergency room. I decided to go horseback riding, something I haven't done in a few years. It turned out to be a big mistake! I got on the horse and started out slow, but then we went a little faster before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me. It wouldn't stop. Thank goodness the manager at Meijer finally came out and unplugged the machine.

I'm headed home this weekend to see my parents-first trip home without him. I am excited because my mom was given football tickets so we get to go to the local university's football game! It'll be a good distraction. Hope my legs work after running 11 miles tomorrow AM!!
