Hope you're all having a nice weekend.
Mom & I enjoyed our visit with Aunt Meg, she's as feisty as ever.
We also hit a few book shops and antique stores.
I picked up some cute mid century modern Santa salt & pepper shakers =]

Probably one of the reasons I am not on Facebook. There are always going to be those who cannot understand the "Child-like" (not childish) nature of real Christmas people, who look for the spirit all year long, as well as all their lives. And know within their hearts, that it is not just a time span during the year.

Merry Morning.
I woke up from a nightmare this morning. It was suddenly Halloween night and the kids had no costumes, there was no candy in and we hadn't carved any pumpkins! I was relieved when I woke up. lol !!! Next I will prob start having the Christmas one similar to this. lol
The city looked so wonderful yesterday with all the trees decorated for Halloween along the streets. When they come down they will be replaced with Christmas! A couple of shops have their front window displays all Christmas now! It made me smile walking past. Also our trees are up at work!! They are not lit yet though. They will be lit on the same day as the City's Grand Christmas lights switch.
I am looking forward to a Halloweek of fun with the kids.

Good Morning Festive. Interesting nightmare. Mine always revolve around work, so that when I wake up, I'm already tired... lol.
It's great when the city takes an interest in holiday decorations. Our has a couple of Haunted Houses, but not much more. Of course they do a nice job for Christmas. This will be a great week for us all. I will be spending Friday, Saturday & Sunday at the Great Plains Zoo for their annual Zoo Boo. Also, a lot of local churches are having a "Trunk or Treat" event in their parking lots. Should be a lot of fun.

This weekend was about one hour long or so it seemed. So much to do and the time was here and gone before I had a chance to even turn around. Luckily, I still have today off. I will spend part of it removing the lovely blanket of color that has spread across my lawn. Also a couple of errands to run. I think that I will BBQ for the wife and daughter tonight and perhaps some corn on the cob and baked potatoes.
My computer is back up and running. Now all that is left is to reload all the music. I hope that you all have a beautiful day filled with lasting memories that will warm your quiet moments.
