Yep! Good plan! We aren't having the tires put on yet, but the auto shop (owned by my sis/bil) ordered the tires for us now so we could get the rebate. BUT we will be wanting new tires b/f the snow flies!!! Always something...No kidding!
I had to have another repair before our travels last week, and I knew I needed the brake pads by my next oil change, too, so I thought why not...get them all done before the snow flies.
Nice! Our office party consists of closing up shop at noon the last day of work before Christmas break & having pizza & beer in the office. Not complaining - they don't even have to do that, but it sure would be nice to get outa here... at least go to the tavern up the road for pizza. Oh well!Very cool! Although the company I work for is international, our office at this facility is pretty small. Most of our Christmas party plans are done by calling around on the intercom to see who want to go where and when. LOL
You make me realize how fortunate we are - the auto shop mentioned above - one of their locations is in the same industrial park that I work in, so when we need repairs/upkeep I drive that vehicle to work, they pick it up & bring it back before I go to lunch! I guess we are pretty spoiled! That's a good plan! I'm still juggling oil changes and tire rotations for me, Nancy and Jacob. No one has time to be without their vehicle, but they all expect me to get the work done!
Hope Greece is doing well!Good morning from Greece!!i know it's propaply too early for you in USA,I just wanted to spread some Christmas cheer!!!
That would be nice but maybe a cup tonight will be nice also!Good Morning, friends~
Merry Pines Day!
It's a chilly & rainy day-I wish I could stay home and watch movies in front of the fireplace all day! With hot chocolate, now that would be lovely.
Hope you all have a blessed & cozy day ahead~
See you tonight!

They are nice...and the Christmas bonu$ we get makes it even nicer!Christmas parties are a nice tradition. Too bad Wal-Mart got away from them, but then those are some of the unfortunate changing times.![]()
I need some of that strong stuff tonight too!Good morning everyone. I need a Pines visit tonight! I'll take the strongest special blend Carl has.
I hope you all have a great Wednesday!
Thanks Crown! Looking forward to the Halloween bash tonight!Good Morning, Late October Travelers.
And traveling on we are, toward the first of a string of four holidays!
Shall we take a look at our progress?
(I'll take that as a "yes".)
Days to Halloween: 5 (Incredibly close now, to that first holiday!)
Days to the Season: 18 (Barely over 2 1/2 weeks remain!)
Days to Christmas Day: 60 (UNDER the 2 month mark!)
(Hey. This is really starting to get interesting!)
Well, the predicted cool-down arrived right on schedule yesterday and I had to wear a light jacket all day.
Today should be a carbon copy until warmer weather appears tomorrow. And that is predicted to carry on through most of next week!
Currently, we are at 46 degrees here in the capital city.
OK, Guys!
Tonight is the LAST open house of the month and also the LAST open house before Halloween. Carl's big pre-Halloween bash has been all prepared and is awaiting us at the 'Pines.
There will be the usual Halloween decorations (Carl excells at this!) along with the customary black and orange frosted Fired Twinkies.
Halloween movies will air in the 'Pines theater and, no doubt, Carl will attempt to experiment on us with some kind of pumpkin-blend concotion.
(Oh well, why not give it a try for the "spirit" of the season.)
See you there --- if you dare!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
Sounds like a great night! I bet Carolina loved it!It was so cold when I got home from work that Carolina was content to stay inside and play since my cousins had taken her out this afternoon. She wanted to color and after dinner we baked cookies. Now we are watching Disney Jr before getting ready for bed. She has looked through the Toys r us book of awesome and picked a few things, now I'm just waiting for target's ad
Merry Pines Day Ryan! I hope today is less crazy for you!! Tonight at the Pines will be crazy enough!Hello everyone. One crazy day today! I hope you are all doing well. Have a great Tuesday!
Enjoy that nice, cool weather, Edge! Oh, and Lulu is a bed-hog, too.Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day. We woke up to temps in the 30s this morning and it definitely hit me a little bit. I overslept by a half hour (oops) which rarely ever happens. I think that I needed it after the other night a certain someone taking over my bed at 2:30AM. Still got to work on time by moving around my routine this morning. Going to the Chinese buffet tonight. Should be fun...and can anyone believe this weekend is going to be Halloween weekend? Unreal...
Have a great Wednesday!
Oh my gosh!! I love it!! Now I want one!!Here's a picture of the TV set that I picked up, the picture doesn't do it justice. Much nicer in person. There's lights, music, animation. Super cute

Great idea! Merry Pines Day!In the spirit of thriftiness, dressing up as Santa for Halloween is a good idea.
Glad to hear inventory went well. It's hard to imagine 10,000 lbs of turkey!Good evening,
Inventory went smoothly, despite the fact another 10,000lbs of turkeys came in late last night.
A day off tomorrow, nothing on my honey-do list yet. It is my laundry day though.
I have 3 kittens who are bouncing off the wall crazy tonight, I hope they calm down before I head to bed.
Goodnight, everyone
