Maggie's doing well today, thank you for asking. The weather cooled off a bit so we went for a couple of short walks. She's sleeping like a baby right right now <3
Just got a call from the vet. Gracie's urine culture came back negative, so we are going to continue on with our original plan of antibiotics for 2 more months. They just want to make sure the infection is all taken care of! Good news - I guess. 2 months of antibiotics just seems brutal!We'll do what we have to do!

I just got back from the funeral. It was a very nice, very large service, and we had a huge dinner after. Poor Mr. Edward, bless his heart. He cried and cried the whole time.
That's so sad, I will keep Mr. Edward in my prayers.

I picked up the new car today, we love it. Just have to learn some of the new bells and whistles on it.
I did end up taking an "emergency" personal day to get some of the things done I needed to just to be able to pick up the car today.
I have been listening to Christmas music as much as I can be the last few days, my oldest and my wife are complaining it is too early. I have waited all year, I love my Christmas music, I will keep listening. Hey, KMART was playing Christmas music the other day when I stopped there.
It will probably be a busy day tomorrow. So my pillow is beckoning.

We have a wedding tomorrow night. I work Sunday morning nd then we have my grandma's 90th birthday at night.Good morning MMC! Happy FRIDAY!! Woop!
Well, things are really getting extra exciting now. I sent a message to my sisters last night about Thanksgiving & guess who's hosting now! Yep! ME! Yikes! LOL! They all offered, but 1 sis had Christmas & Easter last year, another had Thanksgiving last year, and the other has a nice house, but with no basement it just isn't big enough for all of us if the weather isn't fit to be outside. My nephew gets married Dec. 10th so my bro/sil have enough on their plate - they don't need to be hosting Thanksgiving too (didn't even ask them!) So me it is! I love to host, but I have to admit I'm a little sad I won't be able to put up my big tree until after turkey day! I did set up the little tree in the basement last night. I need to get some new lights for it. I will probably put up the tree in the sunroom before Thanksgiving also. I better get cleaning!
What are everybody's weekend plans? We don't have much going on. I'm staying with Mom tonight. As of last night we still have water at the lake, so if it's still on tomorrow we may go out there. Buckeyes play at 8:00 tomorrow night - we won't miss that!I would like to check out the Christmas Shop at the hardware store, since I missed the Christmas open house/ladies night last Sunday! That's about it.
Today is much cooler with a high of 57 predicted - but then we are back up into the 60's (almost 70) starting tomorrow through next week!

Today We are going to a museum to see a collection of Christmas cards. And we are visiting Edinburgh Castle.
And then we do some shopping and more sightseeing.
I flew down with an extra empty suitcase. It's now full of Christmas stuff
