It made me think of an article I saw online last week about "here's what your cat thinks about your Christmas decorations." #1 in the list is the "leaf circle"! The article says, “Why would a human even make a circle of leaves if it weren’t for scratching, honestly? They should’ve hung this on the door sooner, but they left it on the table, and now it’s mine." That HAS to be what's going through Bella's mind!

Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a merry day so far....Its another cold day here today Brrrrrrrrr....Its been a day to remember today i was shopping in the supermarket earlier and a lady colapsed in front of me so i was lucky enough to know my first aid...I did do CPR till the ambulance came to support her...Enjoy the rest of your day christmas buddies

Anybody planning to watch Christmas At Rockefeller Center tonight? I'm hoping to at least catch the lighting of the tree!

And now we have tornadoes...; The alarms on our phones woke us up around 1:00 a.m. this morning. We were under a tornado watch until this morning. The county just south of us had a tornado & a group of businesses were demolished with damage to a subdivision of homes as well. The county just south of that one has two fatalities. Back to the Gatlinburg fires, DH's BIL is still there working (firefighter) & found out that his sister's house was one of the ones destroyed. She said it happened so fast, they grabbed the dog & got out. We're still getting rain here, but now the ground won't hold the water & trees will start falling over if the wind keeps up.

Seems like it's one thing or another all the time.

Glad to hear y'all are ok. We live near Fontana Dam in NC. As the crow flies, we are about 40 miles from Gatlinburg but there is no direct route. It is about 1.5 hr drive for us also. We have had lots of smoke too.

I am so incredibly tired tonight, I think I ended up with less than 4 hours of sleep last night. I have to be in extra early tomorrow morning, so sleep is coming very soon. I am watching the Penguins vs Islanders now, I know Christmas Vacation is on but my wife fell asleep on the couch while watching TV so I can't watch it without her, it is one of our favorites.
I've got to wake her up and head to bed.

Good morning from Greece!!!i wanted to stay awake in order to see the rockefeller christmas ceremony but it was 3 am here in Greece so i fell asleep.do you know any way to watch it today?

We are ok. The 2 fires in our county were about 5 miles from us and are now contained. Still numerous ones burning in WNC and east Tennessee. The Gatlinburg fire is horrible. Over 100 homes lost. You can see the glow of the fire from a ridge above us.

Thank you! I'm still not 100% and I have a feeling Carolina is starting to get sick. She has been kind of hoarse for a few days and she just woke up crying for me but wasn't awake.

Happy December MMC! The month of Christmas has arrived. Unbelievable. Just really feeling festive this morning. Even when I do my run at 5:30 AM a lot of houses have their lights on so it's a really nice feeling. 25 days of Christmas begins tonight. I need to seriously watch a lot of Christmas shows beginning today and I will. I've not watched as many as I would have liked in November...time to make up for it in December. Enjoy your 1st day of Christmas month. It's really here!
