11 degrees tonight. Brrrrr

We got about 6 inches of snow. Mikes aunt said it was a sign from sailor, so we were all asked to make snow angels and then send them to her and Sailor would see them from heaven. I worked yesterday morning and this morning as well. Roads weren't horrible but they weren't great either.
I am watching the Golden Globes now and have work at 9 tomorrow

Good evening,
Just a quick pop in tonight.
This Sunday went incredibly fast, we had a little get together for my birthday today. Yummy meatballs, pasta, salad. As it is every year, it is the final holiday get together. They start Halloween night with a big family meal after trick or treating , a small immediate family Thanksgiving right after the big family Thanksgiving., my wife's birthday, Christmas eve, Christmas day, and New Year’s Eve, and then my birthday. Lots and lots of family meals the last 3+ months. It was also the final night of my out door lights being on, it's always a sad time turning them off for the last time until November, but they will be on again in 10 months. I will still be enjoying my trees for a little longer.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone

Well I just got home from work. Took the long route again, and as expected, less houses than last night still had lights up. I imagine the majority of people were waiting until today to finally take them down. But about a dozen or so had their lights up, including a few homes still completely decorated.

And to my delight, I came home, and Sounds of the Season Holiday is still playing. So I'm just going to spend the evening relaxing and listening to it until it ends. I've never actually seen the transition take place so I guess that will be a first. Then it becomes the dreaded Pulse music :( (I only say dreaded because it takes the place of the Holiday music).

Plus Disneyland is in the final night of their Festival of Holidays, so dang it if Disney still says it's the holidays then it's still the holidays!

Anyhow, I guess tomorrow comes that point where I have to start nudging myself a bit into getting over the season. That usually lasts another week, usually due to that panic feeling that comes each day over having to let it go, where I then end up going back to Christmas mode because of it. But at least I'm making those efforts to let it go, which then at some point leads to actually being able to finally let it go without any reservations. I hope that doesn't make me seem like too much of a weirdo.

Merry Morning,

Well I know Mondays can be tough for some and Mondays in January even tougher :) Hope everyone is coping though. Hang in there. It can only get better :)

This time of year I focus on my work and projects to keep me distracted. PCBs haven't been bad at all this year but there has been a lot else going so I guess that's helped .

Well have a great Monday and start to the week all.

Morning everyone! Too cold out there for me. Too cold out there for Rollins too as he cried so I brought him right in. Now he's being spoiled with a few honey nut cheerios and a blanket. It was a relaxing weekend for the most part for a change. Now for a long 5 day work week. First time in about a month. I think that I remember how to do these. And definitely a busy week at work which makes the days seem fast. Speaking of fast I need to get going. Have a great day!

Good Monday morning! Day off today. Inventory went well yesterday but I wound up staying at work longer than I had hoped afterwards, trying to get some extra work done. David has physio this morning and then we'll run som errands and go see my in-laws. We may not have time to take down the tree yet. I'm hoping we can make it to the move theatre tonight, been wanting to see Rogue One for a while now. Have a great day everyone!

I kept doing that last year "not sure I have time to take the tree down" and wound up keeping it up till the end of January. Best decision I made.

Good Morning, Joyously Jolly January Jumpers.

Well, let's get a jump on today's number then, OK?
Days to the Season: 308
Days to Christmas Day: 350

And this will really have you jumping for joy: As of TOMORROW, we will be down to just one, lone, solitary week until our first Milestone of the 2017 count season, that marker being, of course, the 300-day Season Window.
And after that point has been reached, we will begin the start of a 200's level count to Christmas Season 2017.
(Wow! It's still early January and we are really moving right along, aren't we?)

Well, it was a very cold and miserable day yesterday with the temperature never getting above 25 degrees and no visible ice melting save for where the sun was shining on the roads.
We are predicted to have another sub-freezing day today before saner temperatures return tomorrow afternoon.
Currently, we are shivering to 12 degrees here in central North Carolina!

Well, the Packers won big yesterday evening and now move on to face the Cowboys in what will no doubt be a challenging game.
GO PACK!

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks, regardless of your weather or the status of your NFL team of choice!

GO PACK GO! (From a Washington fan)

Thanks Crown! Stay warm--it's 0F here and I'm about to head out for work!!

Happy Monday folks! Hope we're all setting up for a great week ahead. It's frigid here (0 degrees Fahrenheit!) but by the end of the week the highs are in the low 60s! Ah, what strange weather.

All of our Christmas things are down in our home now, but I am excited for a new week and new opportunities!!

Have a great one folks! Off to work for the day like normal-schools are closed and most business are either delayed or on a different schedule, but we never close so in I go! :)

The Packers did look really tough yesterday. For awhile now it's looked like the best two players in the league are Aaron Rogers and Tom Brady.

Thanks Crown! I'm pulling for the Packers to beat the Cowboys!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It's finally cold in the south! It's been down in the 20's and 30's for a couple days. Of course, it's supposed to be nearly 80°F on Thursday. Oh, well. Winter was fun while it lasted LOL!

We had chili Saturday night, and it really hit the spot. I'm hoping to make a pot of homemade soup tonight, trying to get some more savory food in me before spring arrives later this week.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday!!! (it sure is Monday!) I could have stayed in bed a couple more hours this morning, for sure! And Brrrrrr, it's cold outside!!! But not as cold as the weekend...still Brrrr!! ;) My little heater is my friend this morning!! :)

I had a visit from a cardinal Saturday. It was so pretty in the snow!! I had just texted my family to see what our plan was for visiting mom on Saturday - and just like that - there it was! "Hello Dad or Mike" :):) They are beautiful birds. Of course I didn't have my phone in my hand anymore...I didn't get a pic until after he flew from right outside the window to our pine tree.
