I finally finished Big Little Lies. I loved it.

Today I have a dr appt so Carolina will go to my cousin. After the dr I am going to pick up my bridesmaid dress. It already came in and I'm shocked because they told us that it could take 4 to 5 months to arrive. We ordered them the day before the Super Bowl.

Good Morning, All! It feels like Spring is on the way. We had weather in the 70's on Friday, and a big thunderstorm on Saturday. Of course, the temps are a more seasonable 50 today, but it was very nice while it lasted. I went to see Mom at the assisted living on Friday, and they had all the residents out on the patio enjoying the sun. My Mom was inclined to have a nap, so I was talking with everyone else who wanted a chat. There are only 7 people living there, so it's more like a family style living arrangement than a nursing home. Even the caregiver got to come out for awhile and enjoy the sun!

Saturday was our annual pre-spring thunderstorm with hail. This year it was also very windy and the hail was the size of kidney beans. I'm lucky I was safe at home and didn't have to go out!

It sounds like your Mom is at a nice place!
Friday afternoon I called Moms neighbor (who also happens to be her cousin & friend) - told her Mom & I were going to sit out on the deck if she wanted to join us. She walked over & we had such a nice visit. 74'ishº & beautiful sunshine! It was a different story the rest of the weekend. Brrrrr!!!

Good afternoon ... I am sitting here on my lunch break wishing I was at home just relaxing and watching Christmas Movies We had such a busy weekend ... got the shelves up in our sons bedroom with the help from my FIL. Yesterday we hosted family dinner yesterday and had a house full until after 8 last night. I am so tired today but it was all worth it.

Well I am going to browse the site some more before my lunch break is over. Have a great day!

Yes it was just a physical.
The dress does need to be hemmed bit the groom's mother offered to do it for a fraction of what the bridal store would charge.

Thank you. Yes it was nice. The wedding is in September. One maid hasn't gotten her dress yet. It's not expected to arrive until the middle of May. That still gives us plenty of time though. Hope you had a great day

We are starting to feel better. Henry is fine now and will be back to school tomorrow. I am better, but not 100%. My voice is not quite back and I still have a bad cough, but I do not feel like I have been run over any more.

The judge was very nice to Nathan, He had to pay a $30 fine plus $120 court cost, has to attend a driving class and has limited driving privileges for 30 days.
Not too bad overall.

Good morning everyone!! It was an interesting Monday, which ended early for me, as a feeling of exhaustion took over around 6PM and I slept until just before 1AM. So I guess I am up for the day. That's okay though, since today begins my new work week and I should be able to get back to sleep around 1PM and get a few winks before the shift begins at 10PM. Maybe I can get into the garage this morning to get a few things done and then there is a Bible study at one of the Burger Kings at 6AM.
Also need to pick up a few things from the store and drop off an old TV that has lost it's sound qualities. So the day may still be a bit full.
We are still above freezing (35 degrees) and headed to a high of 46. Not much else really going on. Think I'll through in a small load of laundry before everyone else in the house nods off.
I pray all those in my MMC family are doing well and for those under the weather I wish you all a speedy recovery.

Happy Tuesday! Final day of February already. I always look forward to March as soon as New Years hits because Jan/Feb are my least 2 favorite months of the year. But I have to say this year they did not seem bad at all. Weather hasn't been that bad this winter and I really loved taking in all the post-Christmas lights that people seemed to keep up a good amount of time these last 2 months. Anyway, yesterday was very fast of a work day as my busy week continues today should be the same. Hope you all are well and enjoying the final day of February!

Ended up my niece called & said she didn't have to work, or have class until 1:00 tomorrow. She came home from Indiana & she's going to stay with Mom - she relived me around 12:15 & will stay until Emma gets there tomorrow morning. Nice!

Glad everyone in your family pulled together to make it work and that your niece could be there for your mom.

Good Tuesday morning! I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today, so I'm doing some laundry and catching up online a bit. I'll be doing a mock health and safety audit at a nearby store today, to help them prepare for the real thing. Good morning MMC!!! Merry Milestone Day!!!! I'm happy to change my chalkboard countdown to 300 today...even more excited to change the count to begin with a 2, tomorrow!
AND Happy LAST day of February!! (still hard to believe!) I'm always happy to see March 1st - that means 1 month until LAKE SEASON!!!

We have some rain this morning. Just enough (so far) to make it dreary looking out there!

Emma is back at mom's today! I have supper in the crock pot for Mom, Emma, Jim & I! Marinated Pork Roast with potatoes, carrots & onion under the roast, so the veggies soak up all the marinade flavor. One of my favorites! Unfortunately there was a little misunderstanding & both my brother & my sister made the trip to Indiana this morning to pick up Emma. OOPS!

Hope everyone's day is off to a good start!!!
