Happy March MMC! Many years ago I nicknamed March 1 "The Day of Hope." I always felt like today was the 1st day of the year that we can look forward to so many things. January/February are over till after another Christmas season which is great to think about. But we have spring and Easter, longer days and warmer weather to look forward to. Hope everyone has a great 1st day of March. These months go by so fast it's crazy.

Good Morning, Friends.

A new month.
A new set of numbers.
(And BOTH of them start with a "2"!)

Days to the Season: 257
Days to Christmas Day: 299

Yes, Folks. Yesterday we stepped through those Fench Wndows and found ourselves on a beautifully manicured lawn, blooming with numbers that all start with a "2"!
We shall cultivate our garden well, for it must last us almost two months, until the first "100" number comes up.


Only one word can describe our weather. Outstanding!
(I hate to even discuss it out of fear of releasing a jinx.)
Suffice it to say, today may be even better if predictions hold (and we don't get too hot!)
Right now, we are at 67 degrees here in the capital city of NC and it's a bit cloudy.


Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a great visit to the Shispering Pines this evening, where the entertainment is top-notch (courtesy of Activities Director Carl) the fired twinkies are culinary delights, and the tea --- well --- sweetened to perfection.
Hope to see everyone there!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's been very busy at work for me lately. My own responsibilities are (mostly) a full-time job, but I've been helping our general manager with his work, since his illness prevents him from even typing on a keyboard. And the plant manager has been out since Monday, and he asked me to keep his work up, too. LOL! Nobody does mine when I'm out!

Anyway, I missed coming here yesterday, and It'll be another crazy day today, but MMC is always in my heart!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Next time you go on vacation, you need to ask the plant manager to keep up on your work!! See how well that goes over?

Thxs Crown!! Just occured to me that it wont be long and the strawberry festivals will start blooming down there. Man I miss going to them. Especially the guys selling the ummm...Strawberry Elixir..lol

School was dismissed at 11:30 today because we are supposed to get winds 70-80 mph this afternoon, with hail & possible tornadoes. DD is with me at work now & we just have to hope we don't get blown away while we're here. It's March---in like a lion, so I hope it's out like a lamb: we'll be in Washington, DC for vacation the last week of March.
