And passing a Milestone just means checking ahead for the next one, doesn't it?

Hmmm...... Believe it or not, our next marker is the 1/3 point to the Season and is set to arrive on March 15, less than two weeks from today!
Just let that sink in a bit, now. ONE THIRD of the way to Christmas Season 2017.

Well, we had another quite warm day yesterday, but it was capped off by some heavy evening rain and a brief severe thunderstorm warning. Nothing significant developed where we are, fortunately, and we needed the moisture.
Right now, we have cooled off to 48 degrees here and should be in for a noticeably chillier day than we had yesterday.

Mr. saw Haviland orange thin mints at the store yesterday (dark chocolate with orange-mint cream centers)---they're usually only available during the Christmas season! No, they weren't old stock, because the freshness date is in 2018. So he bought several boxes so we can freeze them and eat them throughout the year! They're so light and yummy.

Just got back from walking Maggie, it's so windy out there. Hope it dies down soon. I'm heading back out in a little bit, my oldest has an appointment with an oral surgeon to see if her wisdom teeth need to come out. Not too much else going on, typical day of errands and chores. Morning MMC! Windy outside this morning. Temperatures are cooling off now and it's supposed to be a pretty chilly weekend. We may even see some snow showers on Friday. Winter always tries to hang on in March while spring is trying to push in and take over. Just another busy quick work day today...hope everyone is having a good Thursday!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!! Not much going on here today. I saw a few flurries on my way to work this am. Crazy 'ol weather! That wind yesterday was ridiculous. Lots of areas around us were out of power - I'm sure we were out at the lake, but we were all good at home. Today is much colder, started at 30º with a high of 38 expected. Brrrr!

Anybody have anything fun planned for the weekend?

It's been very busy at work for me lately. My own responsibilities are (mostly) a full-time job, but I've been helping our general manager with his work, since his illness prevents him from even typing on a keyboard. And the plant manager has been out since Monday, and he asked me to keep his work up, too. LOL! Nobody does mine when I'm out!

Anyway, I missed coming here yesterday, and It'll be another crazy day today, but MMC is always in my heart!
