Sounds like spring at your house!!!Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!
It's still pretty mild around here, and it's supposed to be in the mid-70's for a while. The grass hasn't started growing yet, but the weeds sure are. Well, they're green when you mow them, so it looks like a nice lawn LOL. I need to run a pressure washer and a hedge trimmer, and my house might just be presentable for Easter.
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Thank you so much! Appreciate it! xxHave a great day Holiday...prayers for Gracie!!
The never ending laundry!! I'm working on that too! Hope you have a great day!GM All...merry Tuesday. It is a dreary day today but at least the temps are going to warm up. I did hear that we nay get some snow on Friday and the temps are supposed to drop. Just work for me today and catching up on some laundry tonight. Hope you all have a great day!
Morning Brad. Still a bit early here for that, but who knows, by the time Easter rolls around it may be time. For now, this next week will drop back into the lower 40's and upper 30's. A gentle reminder for those of us who reside in the north that Winter is not quite over yet.Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Happy Tuesday Holiday. Sometimes those rainy mornings are relaxing (when I'm off) and some days it can make you ready to head back to bed. I will remember Gracie's appointment for her and for you as well. Enjoy your day... the best is yet to come...Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!!! What a dreary ol Tuesday. It was POURING down rain when our alarm clocks went off this morning. Makes it so hard to get out of bed! LOL!
Just work for me today. Gracie has her appointment with the vet to be tested again this afternoon, so please keep her in your prayers. Always makes me nervous. She's also getting her annual vaccinations, etc too. Big day for her!
Everyone, have a great day!!!

It's you all that keep the crown polished.Greetings Crown. Yes, the spirit of the season most certainly resides in this place. I have even picked up a few "stocking stuffers" for the 2017 version of this timeless day. The visions are never far from my eyes, the sounds from my ears and the meaning from my heart.
Enjoy your Tuesday and keep that crown polished bright...

Morning SnowflakeMom. So far, so good. Haircut has been taken care of, breakfast has been consumed and the final cup of coffee is going down smoothly. Yes, Spring will be a welcome sight indeed. I'm ready for it, but that also means the outside list of chores needs to gain attention as well.Have a great day, CG!! They are saying we may get some snow on Friday...we'll see! I am ready for spring!
No problem young lady. Should I post it here or is there another place for the recipe?I love cast iron. I love chicken pot pie! I would love your recipe, if it's shareable!
Have a great day CGY!!!
Thanks! You can post it here, or there is also a thread for recipes. I did post a chicken pot pie/cast iron skillet recipe awhile back - maybe it's the same recipe?? But I'm always up for variations!!No problem young lady. Should I post it here or is there another place for the recipe?
I checked it out Holiday and it is about the same. The only differences were corn and diced potatoes for onion and red pepper. Also 1/4 tsp of onion powder. Thanks! Awesome! I bet it would be good with ALL of the above!!! (onion, pepper, potatoes, corn & onion powder)I checked it out Holiday and it is about the same. The only differences were corn and diced potatoes for onion and red pepper. Also 1/4 tsp of onion powder.
But I might have to try your variation.
Indeed. In point of fact, since the entire family enjoyed it, I may have to toss them all in. The only problem will either be a larger skillet or smaller portions of the ingredients. Oh and on a smaller note, my daughter's parrots enjoyed the pot pie as well...Awesome! I bet it would be good with ALL of the above!!! (onion, pepper, potatoes, corn & onion powder)![]()

Still a moment or two of morning left here in SD, so good Morning Minta. The sun is coming out here and what little snow we got last night is nearly all disappeared. No flavored coffee here, but I do keep around some French Vanilla powdered creamer and there is always hot chocolate powder if it needs a little flavoring. I can appreciate the unexpected visitors. It's always nice to see them and catch up, but you also have to redo the normal schedule to accommodate them. The age old theory of advantage and disadvantage...Good afternoon ... dreary and rainy day today .. this morning was damp and chilly and it reminded me of fall. I still have some pumpkin spice coffee at home, maybe I will make a pot tonight or tomorrowWe had an unexpected house guest for the past few days. I enjoy having the extended family together but will be glad to have thing back to normal at home.
Have a great day!
