For all my MMC family and friends Top O' The Morning one and all. Got caught up in the everyday portion of life these past couple of days and even had a ten hour sleep yesterday to keep me going. You know they say it is a sign of old age when you look forward to going into your bedroom to sleep... ;)
But I would not miss sharing this day when we all become Irish, salute the man who (with God's ever present help) drove out the snakes from Ireland and perhaps even adorn ourselves in something green. And since we are a community that not only celebrates the holidays with each and everyone of us, we always keep the Spirit of Christmas in our hearts and on our minds. With that here is my contribution to both days...

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The corned beef is already cooking in the crock pot, and I can't wait to eat it! I'm glad you don't have to be Irish to celebrate, because my family comes from the Polish/Czech/German route. I think we should also celebrate St. Stanislaus Day and St. Hildegard of Bingen Day, so that we could have more special days with tasty treats! We could eat (respectively) pierogies and sour beef. What do all of you think?

True enough Gunny. She has to be my all-time favorite actress. When one of my team (USAF days) once asked me to sum her up in a single word, it only took me the briefest moment to say "Elegant".

MerryBells, I am always up for another holiday. In this case, I'd have to familiarize myself with those other names (heard of them, but not in detail). Not doing the corned beef today, since I need to get some sleep before my shift tonight, but a boiled potato or two could be in the works...

It's SNOWING!! Like HUGE BIG BEAUTIFUL SNOW GLOBE FLAKES!! I LOVE IT!!!

I am so tired today. But this is my own fault! LOL! We had such a nice time last night! Emma just couldn't say enough good things about our friends. She is so observant. She had them all pegged to a T by the time I brought her & Mom home. She said " they all made me feel so at home & comfortable. They are all so laid back & fun. There isn't one of them - boys or girls - who have a 'sharp shoulder'" (I had never heard that phrase before... LOL) They must have put on a good act for Emma! Ha ha ha!!! Our house was so noisy...it was great! I couldn't sleep last night b/c I was just so happy & overwhelmed with the happiness that filled our home! It was just great! I'm so glad we did that! One of my high school friends ended up stopping in too - just in time for dessert. It was fun to see her too. Gracie was in heaven... :)

I'm going to IHOP for lunch in a little bit and then back home to give Rollins his presents. Other than that I'm trying to do some errands today so it's less to do on the weekend. That's why I love that 3rd day off it really makes a difference in giving you time for the weekend. Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend ahead!
