Good Morning, MMC Residents.

And is there a better neighborhood to live in when it comes to things Christmas?
I can't think of one. How about you?

(That's what I thought.)

And to keep this neighborhood running smoothly, we need our daily dose of the count numbers.
Thus:
Days to the Season: 227
Days to Christmas Day: 269

Also important are our Milestone markers.
Next up -- the 1/3 point to Christmas Day 2017, only 26 days up the road.
And the following day? The 200-day Season Window, now UNDER four weeks off.

Cooler yesterday, but still into the upper 60's which is not bad at all for late March. Today should be a bit warmer but it is coming with lots of rain this morning, which hopefully will not hinder our trip to the coast this afternoon.
The weekend itself is supposed to be dry with highs in the 70's.
We are currently established here in the capital city at 56 degrees with a light rain falling.

@MerryCarey hope you are doing well after your intervention. Sorry to hear about that lamp as well. During renos at work, an overnight crew accidentally broke two trophies our DM had in her office. A bit harder to replace than a lamp, but the lamp is more necessary.

Thank you ... the healing incisions are driving me a little nuts, and it's a dark, cloudy day when I could really use my lamp here at the office, so I'm not as sunny as I'd like to be today.

(P.S. She doesn't mean a drug/alcohol/mental health intervention ... she's talking about some minor surgery I had on Tuesday. )

Jacob has the flu, doggone it. He seemed to feel better after lunch, but he's not going to school today. He was up late playing Xbox and wallowing (wallerin', as we say here in the south) on the couch. He won't be satisfied until we're all sick, too. Grrr. If any of your have ever seem the show "The Middle", he is Axle's twin.

Lunch with Mama & Jim today, then the auction with Jim and Bernie tonight.

Been a busy day with some new fangled, recycled, hang on the wall,kids boxed shelves. Since they were a free Amazon review item I cant complain 'much'. In theory they are a nice item, but hardware wise..they need a rethink.

Good evening,

Just a quick pop in.
I fell asleep last night while reading through the posts, and now tonight I am nodding off again. I sat down for the first time tonight at 940pm. JC had his first lacrosse game/scrimmage tonight almost an hour away. It was his first ever, so he got his feet wet.
We have snow coming tomorrow into Saturday, where was all this snow at Christmastime?

I hope to get caught up tomorrow, but there just never seems like there is enough hours in the day right now.

After a couple of nice days we're expecting a lot of rain today and tonight maybe even mixed with snow tonight. Yeah that will be heading officially into APRIL. Yes Edge, in fact I made it just before you today... lol. Weather here will be overcast and in the mid 40's, but no precip for today or the weekend. Working of course tonight and Saturday night, but I plan to kick back some on Sunday and Monday.

We're expecting lots of rain today in to tomorrow afternoon, could be heavy at times. I decided to go food shopping last night to get it over with, glad I did. Not too much going on here today, I'll just be working on some chores around the house. Working on my Easter menu as well. Oh I forgot to mention I bought tickets yesterday to see Stevie Nicks, the show is next week. So excited, I love her so much. Nothing else to report here. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good morning HMG! Stay dry today!! I bet you are glad you got your shopping done last night! Enjoy planning your Easter menu. My niece (my Goddaughter) put on our family FB page last night that she will host Easter this year. NICE!!! It's an undertaking with 50 people... they just built a new beautiful home, so should be plenty of room for our crew!! And hopefully it's a beautiful day we can be outside for most of it!
How fun to have the Stevie Nicks concert next week. ENJOY!
