THE OPERA Part XIXIXVVI

Act 1: The curtain opens to the traditional empty stage. 20 minutes later the curtain closes:

end Act 1

Act II: Jayish enters and dances a Paus Du Lux entitled “ I am not a marshmallow kinda guy” The entire company enters and sings the beautiful aria” Peeps”. Coach enters and announces via an aria that as ambassador they are hereby proclaiming the “ Year of the Peep” and everyone will joyfully celebrate by going to their local CVS and ingesting handfuls of yellow peeps. Made and Prancer sing the beautiful aria “ Peeps: They’re Not just for breakfast”. Binger sings the aria “ Peeps and Coffee” what a winning combo! Brad enters and with CG Yaeger sings the aria “ Everyone should be fluorescent” . There is great rejoicing when on the mountaintop Crown appears and announces via an aria that The Peep Show is being cancelled due to the loud noise being made when they are chewed and thus it keeps them awake. The entire company sings a mournful aria entitled..” Ain’t no peeps when she’s gone..” as the Curtain closes

End Act II

Act III:

Edge and Do You hear what I hear enter and sing the aria “ My country peeps of thee”. Jayish enters and dances the scandalous Paus Du Lux entitled “ Peep at me”- the entire company enter and vow to carry on the peep show and celebration and sing the aria “ Peep it Up baby”- Crown again appears and using their wizardly powers seizes Jayish, McGunny, Christmas Star and Homemakin Girl and imprison them in the plastic cylinder. The entire remaining company sings the aria “ What’s Peeps Got To do with it” and vow to boycott CVS until the imprisoned comrades are released. The Act closes with a close up of Crown sleeping on a giant peep.

End Act III

Act IV: Finale

The villagers arrive and lead by Binger sing the aria from the 1973 Coven hit “ One Tin Solider” only substituting the lyrics “ Go ahead and cheat a friend” for “ Go ahead and deny a Peep” . Carl the Camel appears on stage and the villagers rush to empty his hump of a brewed peep blend. Then, using his two humps as a solidified slingshot, they pepper Crown ( still asleep on a giant peep) with a barrage of chocolate m and ms which awakens them. Crown awakens realizing the error of their ways due to a loud candy causing even LESS SLEEP, and in one of the most moving moments ever in operatic history, announces the Peep show starring Jayish was back on and the Peep celebration was again to be restored. The company rush the plastic cylinder and release the hostages. There is great joy as the entire company come together to sing the aria “ It’s a marshmallow world” as the curtain closes and peeps are dropped from the ceiling… End….
WOO HOO!! Awesome Opera, Binger!!

Evening all!! Had a minor mishap today and snapped off a Xacto blade and it lodged itself in my cheek. Off to the doc for some cheek probing and he recovered the dirty bugger. (Literally) keflex and bactrim precriptions later and we are good as new here.Hoping everybodies Friday went better than mine.
Careful with those sharp blades, Gunny!

Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!

I'm in a hotel room in Atlanta waiting on Jacob and his buds to wake up so we can return to God's country, better known as Bellville! I brought them up here to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Philips Arena last night. They had a blast, but I didn't have a ticket, so I waited in the hotel (and watched Guardians of the Galaxy for the 30th time) till it was time to go get them. Atlanta traffic is horrendous, even at midnight.

I've eaten the few palatable items on the free breakfast bar, and I've had five cups of coffee, so I'm ready to roll!

I hope y'all have a great day, and a wonderful Easter! :D

Good Morning Friendly Citizens of the Great MMC Nation!

And yours truly is feeling right friendly today as we draw nigh to not one, but TWO new Milestone markers!

Days to the Season: 212
Days to Christmas Day: 254

And it would be a thread faux pas to reference Milestones without detailing them.
As such:
1) The 200-day Season Window is now just 12 days away!
2) The ONE-THIRD marker to Christmas Day is only 11 days off. SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!
(Can we really be almost down to single digits away from the 1/3 point to Christmas? The chart doesn't lie. It never lies. It's brutally frank, Folks.)

Still another excellent day here, yesterday. In a way I hope it doesn't stay like this too long. If it does, everyone will be crowding into North Carolina, and the traffic is bad enought around here as it is!
We are currently at 65 degrees under clear and calm skies.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
Enjoy your Weekend.

Bing's opera! It's back!! Excellent addition to the series, my twin-o friend.
Naturally, Carl is strutting about like a peacock proclaiming himself the star, saying if it wasn't for him, Crown would have never awakened to reality.
(And you haven't lived until you've seen a camel strut like a peacock!)
I tried to tell him to take it all in its proper perspective but.....well, you know, when it comes to Carl.....

Thanks Crown. Have a great Easter Eve!

Good Saturday morning! A glorious, sunny day for the second day in-a-row. Yesterday we were on our way to record sales at the store when power went out at about 5:15pm (for the second time in 3 weeks). After evacuating customers and explaining procedures to my two colleagues who were doing the evening shift, I left as my day was done. Turns out we never re-opened last night. I have the weekend off, we went grocery shopping early to beat the crowds. Then I just want to relax for the day. Hope everyone will have a fantastic day!

Morning Gunny. Interesting Friday indeed. What were you doing that had a blade so close to your face? Glad to hear that things are better and I hope your Easter weekend goes much, much better...

Good morning ~
I have to pick up a couple of more things at the supermarket for tomorrow. I'll be heading out early to beat the crowd. Other than that I will be working on daily chores. I'll start to prep and cook later this evening. Looking forward to hosting and spending time with the family tomorrow!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day ~
Thoughts and prayers for all <3
Good AM HMG. I still have to pick up groceries for Sunday. That is as soon as it is decided what the family wants. Hopefully that will be settled before I go to work tonight. Also we may have some extra guests (that also needs to be finalized), but that part is okay with me.
Have a blessed Easter Weekend...

Morning MMC! Happy Easter Eve! A beautiful April day here with sunshine and temps in the low 60s. Going to take Rollins to the park again (his new favorite place). I also have some errands to do today but also have some time to be low-key. Definitely appreciate having a 3 day weekend for Easter. Hope everyone is excited for the big day tomorrow! Have a great day!
Morning Edge. Glad to hear you are enjoying this long weekend. We had some serious thunderstorms last night, but that just helps the grass grow. Have a great time at the park and an even better Easter Sunday...

Good morning all! I am just enjoying a cup of coffee and I need to run to the grocery store in a little while to get a few things. Then the rest of the day should be low key and we are just going to relax. Hope you all have a great day!
Good Morning SnowflakeMom. Sounds like a nice day you have planned. Like you, I always try to get shopping done very early to avoid any crowds. Enjoy your Saturday and even more Easter Sunday...

Happy Saturday Martine. We had some close calls during a severe thunderstorm last night, but no power outages at Wally World. Enjoy the weekend and some very special relaxing moments.
A very Happy Easter to you and yours...

Morning Brad. Nice of you to hold down the fort while the others enjoyed the show. Been there and done that by the way. Have a safe trip home and a very happy Easter...

Morning Crown. I know your feeling about people coming in. Here we have exploded in the past few years. May be time to find a smaller place in a few years from now. Thanks for the continued updates and you and yours have a Happy Easter...

Cutting open a treasure chest. A guy that makes miniature stuff has a Etsy site. Occassionally he will send me stuff to turn into 'something' so he can post it. (Like if you sold blocks of wood..and posted a pic of a statue you carved from a block you sold) So..I was trying to undercut the handles when it snapped. These chests are only as tall as a quarter. I usually almost always use scalpels now for modelling..luckily I had grabbed a Xacto instead.
