So sorry to hear about the heavy rain and violent weather that's out there for some of you. I hope that's over soon.

Looks like we're going to have a chilly, overcast Memorial Day weekend (and that weather pattern has already started). No taste of summer for us. Oh, well. I guess it will be here soon enough.

Good Thursday morning! It's overcast here, rain starting tonight and all day tomorrow. Loki's going to the groomer's in a bit and we'll go out to have a late breakfast/brunch. We may go see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 tonight, we're not sure yet. Have a great day everyone!

I still haven't seen Guardians, either. And I want to see Alien:Covenant, too!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another rainy day here. The same goes for every day on the 7 day forecast. Ugh. At least we should see some dry time in between the storms this weekend. So hopefully there won't be 300,000 wet people on the other side of town on Sunday. Nothing to much going on here today. Just need to run to the grocery before it gets crazy and then take my sisters birthday card out to her. Ella's first birthday was Tuesday and she got lots of goodies for it. I hope everyone has a Great Day!!!

Oh geez, with everything going on, I forgot about the Indy 500 & the predicted rain. Hope it's a nice day for it! xx

** TRAVEL ALERT **

No sooner than the Crowns return from Florida, they are off to the beach!
(But that cottage won't prepare itself for the rental season, now will it?)

This will be a short trip, and a Countdown Volunteer will only be needed for Sunday and Monday mornings.

Anyone like a shot at being a Guest Counter for a couple of days?

It is called a type of doughnut. Made with saffron and vanilla extract, sugar and flour. Then you bake them. I tried one...they weren't terrible but definitely my first choice...lol

I forgot to mention that I saw on the Valerie Parr Hill FB page that she will be on QVC on July 1st with some of her Christmas items!! That is not too far away for sure!

I still haven't seen Guardians, either. And I want to see Alien:Covenant, too!

Alien:Covenant is not something I could see in theatres because I'm a wuss when it comes to those films and it's less embarassing to watch at home. But since today is the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, we finally decided on watching that instead of Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
