Crazy weather here. A storm system moved through the area late this evening. The storm was moving northwest, which is unusual in itself. What was really strange was the tornado that carried on for over an hour!! Luckily it was weak and there is not a ton of reported damage. The tornado moved just to the other side of the town I live in, so we were in no danger. I have been around tornadoes before, but that was the longest lasting one I have ever known about. Crazy!
Yikes!!! I texted our friends in the Englewood/Dayton area this morning to make sure they were all ok! 3 of the 4 are good, but haven't heard from one closest to the damage area but praying they are all ok! Hope today is much quieter!!! Have a good day ITP!

Morning MMC! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Happy Rudolph Day #5! Yikes already a handful of Rudolph Days this year. Everyone at work is excited for the long holiday weekend. In fact, I am working Friday with my coworker/friend while the other 2 are taking off yet our boss is also going away so it's just me and him. We pretty much are going to get most of our work done today so Friday should be more of a laid back hang out at work day than a stressful one. Hope everyone has a great day!
HAPPY RUDOLPH DAY!!!! -reindeer-
Hope you get a good chunk of your work done today so you can have a nice relaxing Friday of Memorial weekend!!!

Good morning ~
It's going to be a rainy day with highs near 60 degrees. I'm heading out soon, my doctor ordered some tests yesterday and I need to have blood drawn. Back home afterward to eat lol, I'm hungry already. I just threw dinner in to the crock pot, I'm making pulled pork sandwiches later tonight. I may run a couple of errands this afternoon, I'll see how the weather is. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx
Good morning HMG! Praying for all good results from your blood tests today! Your dinner sounds delish! Have a Merry Rudolph Day!

Good Morning, Milestone Seekers.

Seek and ye shall find.
But not until today's numbers have been presented, reviewed and fully internalized.
Only then, can the impact of our next pending marker be fully understood and appreciated.

As such:
Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214

Those figure provide the context for our next Milestone, which just happens to be the 200-day Christmas Day Window, followed by the beginning of a double-100's count sequence.
And that major marker stands just 2 weeks off from today's date!
(Now, understanding should be complete.)

Rain, rain, and then more rain fell yesterday and the preceding night.
All in all, we recorded 2.4" in our back yard rain gauge.
Today? More rain, I'm afraid. An 80% chance, the weather service says.
(But that will just make dry Friday appreciated that much more!)
Currently, we perceive 65 soggy degrees here, and we are rain free for the moment.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone!
Stay dry crown!!!! Merry Rudolph Day!

It's disconcerting when your phone starts talking while you're at work, telling you that a tornado has been sighted in your area! That's happened two days in a row, although I haven't seen or heard of any damage nearby.
Yikes!! I hope your phone doesn't have a reason to talk to you today!!! xx

Lulu, too, cries all the way through storms like we've had, bless her. I'm glad you didn't have any damage.
(((HUGS))) to sweet Lulu! Poor babies! I'm glad you didn't have any damage through your crazy weather too! xx

Good Thursday morning, and Happy Rudy Day, Christmas friends!
-reindeer-
The sun is finally shining! I have all my office windows open, and a cool breeze is blowing through...it's nice!

I'll be in and out today. We have a safety milestone celebration tomorrow, and there are a few VPs coming in for a visit.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Glad you are safe....very scary!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!! Woot! We've had some crazy weather in the area. Nothing overly severe right here by us yet (it was more south) but there are more storms predicted for today. We had some of the heaviest rain I have heard in a long time last night! Lots of flooding around, my friend was trying to get home from her moms about 15 miles from here & she had to turn around & spend the night at her moms b/c the roads were flooded! This morning everything in this area has receded but the radio station is warning to watch for debris on the road. Gracie spent 99% of the past 14 hours in the basement under "her" end table! She didn't go outside from 5 pm last night until 5:45 this morning. Testing her bladder I guess. Poor girl! She was terrified. I let the basement door open for her today but hopefully today is a much less eventful day!! xx

Looking forward to the Memorial weekend. I have a lot to get done before tomorrow! Need to get packed up for the lake, make a snack (queso dip) for the lake peeps for tomorrow night, get wedding clothes ready for Saturday & then the rest of the weekend....RELAX by the lake! :D

Everyone, have a wonderful Thursday!!!

Poor Gracie! Queso dip sounds so good!! Happy Rudolph Day!

GM all...Happy Rudolph Day! And yet we have more rain!! I heard it may clear up today but heavy rain tonight and tomorrow morning. The weekend does not look too great either but oh well we have Monday off and I can relax. Just work for me today and tonight my oldest daughter has World Fair Day. It is part of her final for her geography class. She has to make a big trifold on Iran and she made an Iranian dessert. My husband is working late so it will be my youngest daughter and I going. Hope you all have a great day! 7 months from today is Christmas day!!

Just out of curiosity, what would be an Iranian dessert? Hope you girls have fun tonight!
Happy Rudolph Day ~ 7 months til CHRISTMAS!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another rainy day here. The same goes for every day on the 7 day forecast. Ugh. At least we should see some dry time in between the storms this weekend. So hopefully there won't be 300,000 wet people on the other side of town on Sunday. Nothing to much going on here today. Just need to run to the grocery before it gets crazy and then take my sisters birthday card out to her. Ella's first birthday was Tuesday and she got lots of goodies for it. I hope everyone has a Great Day!!!

@Iteachpercussion and @Bradmac hope both of you stay safe in this crazy weather. Sounds quite scary.

** TRAVEL ALERT **

No sooner than the Crowns return from Florida, they are off to the beach!
(But that cottage won't prepare itself for the rental season, now will it?)

This will be a short trip, and a Countdown Volunteer will only be needed for Sunday and Monday mornings.

Anyone like a shot at being a Guest Counter for a couple of days?

Good Thursday morning! It's overcast here, rain starting tonight and all day tomorrow. Loki's going to the groomer's in a bit and we'll go out to have a late breakfast/brunch. We may go see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 tonight, we're not sure yet. Have a great day everyone!

Me: Bro its been raining 6 days a week here
Buddy: Whats it matter? I have seen you sleep 6 hours in a mud puddle.
Me: But I was tired! And it was hot!!
Buddy: Wait 1, sending ya a pic.
Buddy: Remember it was 110° in the shade and we hadnt seen a drop of rain in a month. Enjoy your rain Gunny, it has been worse.
