Good Monday morning! We had a quick rain storm this morning but now the sun is out again in full force. It's so nice out that I don't feel like going in to work for the afternoon/evening shift, especially since I had to go in last evening because my colleagues had not put on the security system correctly. An hour of my evening wasted. Have a fantastic day everyone!

The HALF WAY point to Christmas Day 2017. It's precisely TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!

Still rather warm and humid. And the heat will just continue to build. We are predicted to be in the mid 90's by the middle of this week. A nice rain would help out but none is predicted for the immediate future.
Our opening temperature this morning is 72 degrees here in the capital city.

We had a screaming fox outside our home at 2:00 this morning!

I'm on vacation this week. DH is taking off Thursday & Friday. Today I have made a list of the Christmas movies I have & listened to the latest MMC podcast.

We have a family of three foxes that are living near the tall grasses by the creek bed. Mom and Dad enjoy playing tag with one another. The little one bounces around a lot.

Happy Monday!! I chaperoned my daughter's trip to a nature center today. We hiked a bit and were in shaded woods but still very hot! I am so thankful for AC! Hope you all had a great day!

I went running this morning 9:30 and I came back as I call it during the dog days of summer "soaked in sweat."

Just got back from Henry's track practice. VERY HOT!!! They practice at a nice high school track and my wife and I walk around the track during practice, but wow was it hot and humid. Luckily practice is only an hour.

What a great day! Got to work outside, clean Doc's and my vehicle, play with the girls in our new little kid pool, and now I'm holding a baby while she sleeps.
