Hello and Happy Friday!

WOW... HOLY... RAIN!!! It has rained, hard, nonstop for several hours today. It is not suppose to end anytime soon either. My backyard is, well, flooded.

This weekend is the Dayton Air Show and the Thunderbirds are suppose to perform. However, this morning, one of the Thunderbirds was landing just before the rain started and as he touched down, a huge gust of wind came in and blew the plane over on its top!! Crazy weather!

In happier news, since it is so rainy outside, I have decided to have a merrier time inside and I have been listen to Christmas music! I also watched A Christmas Carol. Rainy days are not all bad.-sing-

LOL! I'm afraid those days are behind me, too! Like the old Hank song says, "And the hangovers hurt more than they used to.";)
Lol..I never had a "good" quart give me a hangover and I have put away a boatload. Guess it depends if the person making it knows how to make his cuts. My Grandpa use to say.." You know you had good likker if you wake up nekkid next to a dead deer" ...That saying always made me uneasy..lol!!

Happy Saturday MMC! Happy 6 months till Christmas Eve! That's crazy! To think we're halfway to Christmas weekend again is mind-blowing. It's raining out there this morning but I have a 3 day weekend so I plan to enjoy it. I have a bunch of errands to do (I know so fun) but should keep me busy. Have a great Saturday!

Good Morning, MMC Citizens Deluxe!

The days are dwindling down fast, now.
Soon.
Very soon.
We will have fully completd the first half of our journey back to Christmas.

Days to the Season: 142
Days to Christmas Day: 184

Can we really be half way back to Christmas as of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW??
Well, that's what the chart says. It's proven dependable in the past. No reason to start doubting it now.
(But nevertheless, it still seems incredible, doesn't it?)

It was a tale of two days yesterday. The morning was cloudy, coolish and with a strong threat of more rain.
By contrast, the afternoon was sunny, hot, humid and breathless.
Today? Well it depends on how close the remains of "Cindy" get to us. The weather service has been getting progressively more optimistic and we should have a pretty nice weekend.
For now, we are under calm, partly cloudy skies and see a temperature reading of 78 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday and a Leapin' Launch to your Weekend, Everyone!

Thanks Crown! Happy 6 months till Christmas Eve!

Good Saturday morning! I was awake at 6am (darn internal clock) but I managed to get back to sleep until 8am. I'd say this morning is cloudy with sunny breaks, but they don't predict any rain until late afternoon. As it is our province's holiday today, everything is closed and it's quiet this morning as a lot of people partied last night. Time for some laundry and taking Loki to the dog park. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Happy Saturday...I cannot believe we are 6mths away from the big day! It is pouring out like crazy so I am just enjoying some coffee and relaxing. We were invite to a cookout today at 1 but not sure about this weather? Hope you all have a great day!

Morning ... Well I was woken up a little after 6 by some very strong winds and heavy rains .. now the sun is shinning and its hot and humid out. We did go to the movies last night and saw the new Transformer movie.. it was pretty good. Today I will make and can my blueberry pie filling and since not everyone likes blueberry pies I will can the filling in small jars which will be perfect for individual pies and toppings for pancakes.

Have a great day

Thxs Crown!! Looks like the edge of the storm hits you coming north. Looks like we will pass through the center, maybe with some luck it will have lost its moisture. We really need no more rain for awhile.
