Anyone else love lots of lights on their trees? I find the more the merrier!!!

Hi there. Yes, I do love a lot of lights. Colored ones and there has to be at least two strings of motion lights mixed in (on the main tree) to give it that magical Christmas sensation.

A very happy Monday morning to all my Christmas friends here at MMC. Well, the 4th draws a bit closer and I spent yesterday from 7AM (when I got off work) until around 2PM getting some stuff done in the yard and garage. Looks to be around 75 - 80 people going to show up at some point on Tuesday, so I will head to the store this morning to do all the shopping.
I'm thankful the Lord has provided me with the funds to handle this occasion. It is nice to get to know the people around you and let everyone be aware that even though this is still a country of diverse cultures and thoughts patterns, we are all still members of the least exclusive club with the highest dues... American Citizens.
Anyway, wound up sleeping from 2PM until 11PM and now I'm back at it. Taking a break right now of course and the things I will be doing must be a bit q

Merry Morning everyone!!

How are you guys doing??

Well its been a manic couple of weeks. I am happy and relieved to report that we have now moved house !!!! We moved on the 22nd as planned. It was an extremely stressful time leading up to the day and it didn't go all that smoothly on the day. Removals van turned up late etc. However I just want to leave it all behind now and move forward.

The house is massive compared to our last. It needs fully redecorating but I am looking forward to this. The neighbourhood is beautiful and neighbours are friendly. The garden is really lovely too!

I am so happy that it is over. We did it!!

I hope to catch up with you guys more now.

Happy 4th of July Eve everyone! To all of you off today, enjoy it! I'm running on 4 hours sleep today as we got home from my Uncle's at almost 1 AM. I am off to work today and have a lot to do which means the day will go by like a blur and then tonight I'm going to REST and enjoy my 4th of July off tomorrow. Merry Morning everyone!!

How are you guys doing??

Well its been a manic couple of weeks. I am happy and relieved to report that we have now moved house !!!! We moved on the 22nd as planned. It was an extremely stressful time leading up to the day and it didn't go all that smoothly on the day. Greetings Festive and thank you for your well wishes. I'm very pleased to hear that the move is over. I had to do it quite a few times in the military and honestly... I can never remember a smooth one. But the end was always welcome and the process of turning it from a new house to our home a joyful one. Knowing your positive attitude, I'm sure it will shape up in short order and your first Christmas there will be one full of happy memories.

Good for you ballcoach. That is my usual, this year will be a change, but a decent one. The weather today calls for partly cloudy with a high of 83 and for the 4th, possible thunderstorms, which could have a big impact on the BBQ. We will see what the good Lord provides.

We are supposed to reach 90 today, however, and an afternoon thunderstorm is a distinct possibility.
We currently are at 77 degrees here in the capital city.
