I stopped at Moms after work yesterday to find Emma baking Christmas in July cookies for us!! I think I'm rubbing off on her!

Convertible night was great. We went to a new (new to us) restaurant. The food was amazing!! We shared an appetizer called Pig Candy - It's smoked, candied bacon; cinnamon, sugar & spices. OMGosh!I had a Cajun chicken pasta with cream sauce! OMGosh! It was so good & so huge. Of course I got a to go container & it ended up sitting in the back seat of the convertible all night. Darnit!

We have been expecting a thinderstorm since yesterday but it it hasn't hit yet. I have a feeling when it does it will be a big one. I kinda like summer thunderstorms

Morning Brad. Just so you know you are not alone, I am probably the worse patient in Sioux Falls. I can't stand going to the doctor's with all the waiting, them asking the same questions over and over, the "well it could be this or this or this" evaluations and of course the expense. Like you, I know they are only doing their jobs, but I still try to avoid it whenever possible. As I mentioned to my doctor the last time I saw him, "No matter what you say or prescribe, I'm fairly sure I won't get out of this life alive."TGIF, Christmas friends!
It's going to be another hot day, so I plan to stay indoors...unless I get a chance to jump in the pool this evening.
I have a doctor's appointment this morning, doggone it. They won't refill my blood pressure medicine unless I come in for a visit. I was just there 4 months ago! I got a little irritated on the phone, and told the lady making my appointment that this was just a reason for me to write another check. I felt bad and apologized, since it's not her fault, but seriously?!
Anyway, I'm going to Augusta tomorrow with mom to pick up some new furniture for my brother and his soon-to-be wife. He wanted mom to drive up there (about 1.5 hours) pulling a trailer to get this furniture. No way! She's only pulled a trailer maybe twice in her life, the last time was about 15 years ago, and certainly not in Augusta traffic.
So. Enough complaining from me. It's Friday!! I hope y'all have a great day!

Good Afternoon Festive. Warm here as well, with a lot more humidity than I would have expected for a northern plains state. Oh well. The 4th was very busy, but everyone that showed up had a great time. I am going to try to relax this Monday, but I'm not that great at sitting around. I'm sure you are staying busy getting everything put away and situated in your new place. You'll have to post a few pics and show us the "Festive Spirit" home.
