Morning MMC! The heat and humidity build some today. Monday went by like it always does as the fastest day of the week to me. I'm always extra busy on Mondays. Today will go get a slice of buffalo chicken pizza for lunch and continue the work week hopefully in good fashion. NFL training camps open in 10 days (well for my team they do) and that's just another sign that we're moving towards the best time of year. Have a great day!

Morning Gunny. Same here. We had about 30 minutes of rain last night and with the heat already in the air, we also had a sauna this morning. Hang in there... :cool:

Other than that, there's not much going on. Just work today & then some Christmas on tv for the evening!!

Howdy Holiday. Sounds like an easy going kind of day. Not much into the HSN, but I do enjoy the Music Choice - Sounds of the Season: Christmas in July that is currently on the tube.

OMG what is wrong with that angel. that is the bringer of doom or something? Maybe they mixed it up with the haunted spooky halloween version of an angel

Can't stand HSN either but the sad fact they were first with CIJ sales and in the last 10 years it went down hill lol. Mostly watch it for the train wreck. Plus its to hot to do anthing else

It was busy but still fun. Plus we drove a little further and went to Bronner's Christmas store in Frankenmuth. Then on Sunday he went to the Henry Ford Museum.

July is flying by! I am nearing the end of one of my classes so the workload there is about to increase. Henry starts little league football next week, and because I like to punish myself, I am helping with the coaching.:confused: We are also making more costumes for an upcoming ComicCon in Columbus, Ohio on August 3-5. Before I know it, school will be back!:eek:

At least I can enjoy Christmas in July. I am looking forward to the rebroadcast of Tracking Santa.

Greetings Iteach. I have to make it up there to Bronner's some day. Maybe that will be next years vacation spot (little Bavaria). Time is indeed flying and there are days when it seems like not enough hours for all the projects. Oh wee, a little is better than none at all.

I'm not much into HSN either - this is probably the most I have ever watched it. I will have to turn on music choice tomorrow when the bosses are gone. :)

We bought a few things at Bronners. A few ornaments and big tree skirt. Last Christmas we cut down a large tree because we have an area with a high ceiling. However, the tree skirts we had and could buy around here were really small and looked odd. Bronners had bigger and better tree skirts available. There were lots of things I would have liked to have bought, but I cannot spend all of our money on Christmas ornaments.:D
We also picked up a large wooden Merry Christmas sign from the estate sale. It is really neat, you put your own lights in it (200 lights).

I love going to Bronners. I wish we would have had time to go to the rest of Frankenmuth, I enjoy all of the little shops there.

We have a lot of costumes to make for this ComicCon. We are doing an "Injustice" Day, where we are all going as characters from the Injustice video game/graphic novel. They are all DC characters, but we are making the costumes that are specific to the game. My wife is going as Raven, Nathan is Nightwing, Henry is Blue Beetle and I am Doctor Fate.
Then we are doing an Elder Scrolls (video game series) day. Then the last day is just a whatever day, no theme. The Elder Scrolls costumes all need to be made, but the last day we already have some of them done or almost done. Lots of work to do! My wife is cleaning up her work space right now so we can start working.
