We haven't even reached the BEGINNING of August yet Gunny lol :).
Lol..I am still over it!! This humidity raises heck with my airbrushing.

Morning MMC! Another Sunday here and mostly a quiet one hopefully. I went to bed early for a Saturday and got a good nights sleep. Looks like a mostly cloudy day with showers this afternoon and into tonight. The weather person says temps will be lower this week coming up but the humidity will still be around so it won't feel that much cooler. Well other than that all I gotta say is 40 days till the Bers. Have a great Sunday!

Good Sunday morning, Christmas friends!

I've been away from here for a few days. Nancy had a surgery Wednesday morning (no worries, hopefully she's good now), and I've been at her beck and call since then. I'm getting pretty good at laundry, and I made a mean chicken pot pie last night, if I do say so myself. I even got the lawn mowed while she slept on Friday. If it weren't for that pesky job, I could get all kinds of things done!

It's been Campmeeting week at the local Methodist campground, and Elizabeth has been there all week with Nancy's mom. We obviously haven't been able to attend this week, but Elizabeth brings me a plate from each day's lunch. She's a better cook than most people I know, no joke.

Anyway, I better get back to my house duties. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning, Folks!

UNDER two weeks, now.
(I think you know what I'm getting at but just in case you don't, stay tuned.)

This morning's data:
Days to the Season: 113
Days to Christmas Day: 155

Yep. Just look at that first number. THIRTEEN days away from the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW.
(And that's definitely under 2 weeks.)
The next day?
Well, a DOUBLE-DIGIT count to the Season commences.
(And you read it here first, Guys.)

Our weather situation is like a broken record -- a hot, moist, steamy broken record. You open the front door and get hit in the face with a wet, warm towel.
A VERY warm towel!
When will it end? Well, not right away or all at once, but a gradual cooling trend is promised. (Very gradual.)
This Weekend part II day has begun at 83 degrees, our warmest start yet here in the heat and humidity capital of the south.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
(If it's not out of keeping with the situation, that is.)

I was wondering where you were. Wishing Nancy a speedy recovery. Have a nice day Brad.

Good morning ~
Merry Sunday!
It's going to be cloudy today with highs near 80 degrees. Not too much going on here today. I'm moving slow this morning. We got in pretty late from the concert last night. It was fun but I think I might be getting too old for heavy metal concerts! Although there were tons of people there that were older than my husband and I. Lots of fathers and sons too, which was nice to see. I'm just having my coffee and relaxing for a little bit. I'm going to throw a load of laundry in soon and tidy up the house. I have to make a pot of sauce as well, dinner will be spaghetti and chicken Parmesan. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

+i Greetings my merry chums!

I've been on vacation all week; back to work tomorrow.

I've been celebrating Christmas in July in my own way some of it with the merry assistance of guest bloggers on the MMC front page. Interesting articles and a few podcasts. I'd like to hear more, but my husband is a news and sports junky so I have to wait until he's having a rest or out running errands before I can listen to anything Christmas related.

+m I sent two surprise parcels out and hand delivered another to celebrate Christmas in July and bring a smile to someone's face.

The weather during my vacation was quite good; I've been cruising around in my new car and yesterday went to visit relatives at their property on the river just over an hour away from here. My next vacation isn't until Aug. 8th. Hoping to get away for at least two nights to visit my brother in Toronto to do a little sailing and jazz clubbing.

Have a super Sunday and grab some merry fun with links and stories on the front page.

:snowhappy Thanks to all the contributors; keep a merry thought in your head! :shakeit

Enjoying the rebroadcast of the 50-hour Santa Tracking programming (as I work on a Christmas project)! Who else?

I also have the TV tuned to the Hallmark Channel so I can see the decorations in the movies as I listen.
