It has been such a lazy day. We did some running around this morning, but I have had no energy. Soooo, I took a nap.

I have been listening to Kringle Radio's Santa Tracking on and off. It is just as wonderful and entertaining the second time!

Well, I guess I need to get some school work done. Not what I want to do.

Can someone tell me where the weekend went?
I have the same question! I've been multi-tasking all day, yet I don't feel like I got much done, and the day flew by. Still, it was good to feel energetic for a change! I've had some health issues this year that really sapped my strength, so it felt good just to be bustling around doing things.

Agree that the weekend has flown by as well but that has been pretty much all month. Now you need to take a little time to feel better before jumping back into ti.

Good morning ~
Merry Sunday!
It's going to be cloudy today with highs near 80 degrees. Not too much going on here today. I'm moving slow this morning. We got in pretty late from the concert last night. It was fun but I think I might be getting too old for heavy metal concerts! Although there were tons of people there that were older than my husband and I. Lots of fathers and sons too, which was nice to see. I'm just having my coffee and relaxing for a little bit. I'm going to throw a load of laundry in soon and tidy up the house. I have to make a pot of sauce as well, dinner will be spaghetti and chicken Parmesan. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
Happy Monday HMG. We were about the same with the temp yesterday. I can also relate with the "getting a bit too old" feeling. Seems to happen to me more and more... lol. Of course I will have to admit that relaxing after a day of doing the job, at least for me, has never included hitting the bars or the discos (yes, I can remember them). Oh I still get out now and then and certainly it can be fun, but relaxing is not one of the words I use to describe it. Last concert I went to was a couple years ago to take the wife to see her favorite band... Chicago. Have a funday Monday...
Hello Monday.jpg

+i Greetings my merry chums!

I've been on vacation all week; back to work tomorrow.

I've been celebrating Christmas in July in my own way some of it with the merry assistance of guest bloggers on the MMC front page. Interesting articles and a few podcasts. I'd like to hear more, but my husband is a news and sports junky so I have to wait until he's having a rest or out running errands before I can listen to anything Christmas related.

+m I sent two surprise parcels out and hand delivered another to celebrate Christmas in July and bring a smile to someone's face.

The weather during my vacation was quite good; I've been cruising around in my new car and yesterday went to visit relatives at their property on the river just over an hour away from here. My next vacation isn't until Aug. 8th. Hoping to get away for at least two nights to visit my brother in Toronto to do a little sailing and jazz clubbing.

Have a super Sunday and grab some merry fun with links and stories on the front page.

:snowhappy Thanks to all the contributors; keep a merry thought in your head! :shakeit

Hi there Auntie. So glad you were able to find the time to "get away from it all". No matter how enjoyable or rewarding the job, every now and then even the best and most reliable well can use a bit of priming... ;)
Welcome back and enjoy the new car...

Can someone tell me where the weekend went? Cant believe it's almost over. Still hot and humid .. YUCK ... so dinner in the crockpot .. Turkey legs and thighs :)

I stopped in the grocery store today and one side of the seasonal aisle is full of Halloween Candy :)

Have a great evening
Morning Minta. How was the crock pot feast? Weekend went quickly for me as well, but since I am off today, hopefully I can get some work done outside before the sun gets on the 90 side.
Our Halloween candy is not out yet, but I have seen some in the back room. I'm sure the plans are to bring some of it out shortly. Of course the good thing about it coming out sooner is that your have the time to sample and make sure it is acceptable for those wonderful trick or treaters...

Love me some turkey legs. never tried them in a crockpot always have them off a grill or open fire. Hope it turns out great.. cheers
Morning XmasDreams. Same here as far as crock pot, never done it. Though it does sound interesting. But my all time favorite way is low and slow in the oven. 250 degrees. Then baste and wait for the meat to almost fall off the bone.
Have a wonderful Monday...
Enjoy Monday.jpg

Well it is 9pm and I finally have a bunch of energy. :p Guess I won't sleep tonight. Oh well, more time to listen to the Santa Tracking. :D
Greetings Iteach. Got you beat by a few minutes there and now it is 4:45AM and still going at it. I'm sure somewhere around noonish I'll die out for a few, but I have plans for tonight's dinner, so any nap will have to be a quick one.
Enjoy your Monday and the last full week of Christmas in July...

Good Monday Morning Merry. All my weekends go by quickly, but of course I do work on Saturday evening. I usually wind up planning a task or two, so that something gets completed (hopefully). Sorry to hear about your health related problems and since you have had some for the first half, I'm praying that the second half finds you more and more on your "energetic" mode.
A very MerryCarey Christmas Eve to you...

Thank you so much CGYager, wishing you the same!

Good morning ~
Happy Monday!
We're going to have cloudy skies today with rain, highs near 73 degrees. I'm glad it cooled off a bit. Typical day here, I have a couple of quick errands to run and I'll be working on some chores around the house. I also have an appointment later this afternoon to have my hair cut and colored. That's about it for me. Oh I have a recipe for a mozzarella stuffed meatloaf that I'm going to try for dinner. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Morning MMC! Happy 5 months till Christmas Eve! It is raining here this morning and I have the day off of work. We're going to go to IHOP later this morning. The high today is predicted to be in the low 70s. I can't remember the last time it was that cool out. Almost feels like a hint of the Bers to come. Anyway, I hope you all have a great Monday and think about the fact that now we have gone through 7 months since Christmas Eve and only have 5 to go.

Good Morning, Guys!

Know what?
We are near talking abourt SINGLE DIGITS again.
<< Whaaa, Crown? This soon?? >>
Yep. Keep reading for the whole shocking story!

But, first:
Days to the Season: 112
Days to Christmas Day: 154

And with only 12 days remainig to the 100-DAY SEASON WINDOW, we are indeed getting perilously close to single digits to that auspicious marker.
Then?
Well, then we launch a DOUBLE-DIGIT Season count and things will start to move even quicker.
(Hey. I had better start thinking about that Blossoms thread. Hmmmm......)

Hot Hot Hot.
No relief at all yesterday until an evening rain.
My car thermometer read 101 on the way home from the mall yesterday afternoon.
That's 101 air temperature. Heaven only knows what the heat index was.
Today? Well, perhaps a mild relief. (Hey. We will take anything we can get!)
Currently, we start off this new week at 73 somewhat overcast degrees here in central NC.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

Greetings once again. Mid 80's today, 95 tomorrow and then dipping down into the upper 70's... yesssssssssss. Enjoy your cooling off period, I know that it could stay in the low 80's down to the mid 70's for the remainder of the Summer and I would be fine with it. Never used Mozzarella in a meatloaf before, but on occasion a light amount of Cheddar and (since I tried it back a ways) stuffing mix. Hope it comes out well for you.

Greetings Edge. Enjoy the "HOP" and the weather. Five months to go? Okay, then how about Happy Christmas in July Eve? Have fun.
