Well, the temp and humidity levels were up a bit yesterday and that trend will continue today with possibly a little relief for tomorrow.
Right now, it is a bit cloudy and we record 71.9 degrees on our digital back door thermometer.

Thxs Crown!! Its closing in fast here. Thunderstorms overnight has made for a humid day already here.
 
Hi everyone, Not sure if any of you heard but the National Christmas Center in Lancaster Pa will be closing for good Jan 7, 2018 :( We are going to try to take a day trip there before then to revisit it one last time and take some more pictures.

I did see that on another thread. I've never been there but it sure looks like a cool place. How sad! I hope you are able to go before they close!

I had just read that myself. With the rising costs of, well basically everything these days, it is not surprising that an attraction like that (a Christmas Museum for the most part), would come on hard times. It would be nice if someone else bought it and kept it going. If not, I hope Christmas enthusiasts will add it to other Christmas attractions or to bring joy to others.

Good morning all. Well, I only got a couple of hours in and then woke up. Hopefully that will be enough to get me through the Jungle Jubilee at the Zoo in a couple more hours. Some coffee, a shave & shower should also go a long way to that end. Trying to be positive... it should help me get a good night's sleep.
Not much else going on. I got a few positive phone calls from people I did not know regarding a lengthy piece I put together (with the Lord's help) on how so many of our local churches seem to be turning into religious coffee houses. So that was nice of them. I hope everyone is having a great day. Holiday... I pray Gracie is feeling better and I send by best wishes to a couple of members that have not been with us for awhile and hoping we will all hear from them soon... Sonwflake22 & Festive Spirit. We miss you guys and trust all is well, just busy for now.

off to port Huron today, my son has some things to pick up that he cannot get here.
Going to be a hot day again with the occasional showers to help make it more steamy.
Doctor has put me off work for 2 more weeks :(
On the bright side it gives me some extra time to get canning done !

my brother found some cauliflower on sale but thinks it looks strange so did not buy it...

When I got home for lunch today Gracie had thrown up her "breakfast!" :(

I gave her the hug and she was so excited that as I tried to leave, she jumped between my legs, out the door, and took off down the street. Luckily she stopped to smell the lamp post 3 houses down and I was able to grab her tail as she was taking off again.

Well gang, I'm off to pick up Gracie & head to her appointment, feeling a little nauseous! Darn butterfly's!
