I'm ok with it...till I start driving home in the dark from work. But then again that's when the fun is just beginning with the holidays getting really close.Tinsel time is always welcome, shorter days...UGH! I know, I know - they go hand & hand! LOL

Please keep Gracie in your prayers. She had to spend the night at the doggie hospital last night for IV.He did a blood test on her & all her levels are out of whack! Her white/red blood count, & BUN are low. Her phosphorus is high. I'm not having a good feeling about this. My poor sweet girl!
It was so strange not having her at home last night & this morning. She missed her peeps walking by for their 1st day of school this morning! Her favorite thing to do is bark at them. LOL!!

That sun beats on our bedroom all summer in the afternoon and even the central air cant keep it cool enough to sleep, we have to have a window ac running all summer. I welcome this time of year..lol

It has definitely been feeling like late summer these days. Some of the trees are teasing at a color change. I'm getting excited for the 'BERs next week!
Today, I took our little daughter to her first day of Preschool. Even though she has never been to a sitter, she did very well and had a fabulous day! I am so happy for her because she will be able to spend more time with other kids. I am also happy for myself because now I have 9 more hours to myself a week and feel like I will be more of a person again. I am excited to check in here more often and be part of this awesome group! There is always something great to read about!
I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday! Maybe I will make it to "The Pines" tonight!

We are in an old house in Bellville, and it can, at times, be a challenge. Still, we love ours, too.Morning everyone,
It's been an overly hectic morning. We were meant to be having our wood burning fire put in this morning but they have uncovered some random live water pipes inside the chimney breast that need sorting before they can proceed. Their plummer cant make it till next tue so the whole thing has to be put off till then. Ugh!!!!! This keeps happening with every project in the house. Things keep on being uncovered that we need to deal with.
Makes me think of The Money Pit with Tom hanks and Shelley long LOL !
