Also, supermarkets have started stocking our traditional Christmas Chocolates tub right on schedule! Usually starts around now!
Always an exciting moment to see them appear!

And the marker that is about to arrive is none other than the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Day, and it now stands just TWO days into the future.
(That's THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, Guys!)


We are looking forward to tomorrow, when we will finally break this steady drumbeat of 90 + degree highs.
While the mid-80's is not great, it will come as a welcome improvement, however brief.
Today has commenced here in the capital city at 75 degrees.

Good Wednesday morning! We had a couple of major thunderstorms yesterday and one area got a category 1 tornado. We've seen more tornadoes this Summer than before in our province. Today we can feel a definite cool down, it's a nice break from the high humidity. I'm in Montréal today for a roundtable on being a scheduling expert for my district. I already answer stores' questions on the program we use so it was easy for my district manager to nominate me for the job. I just hope the day ends early so I can beat killer traffic going back home. Wishing everyone a great day!

GM MMC...happy Pines! Just working today...I took next Tuesday off as my kids start back to school on the 30th so I was thinking maybe we will do some last minute shopping and have a lunch date. Hope you all have a great day!

BTW-has anyone noticed that it is getting darker earlier? I noticed it last night...hmmm just another sign of fall coming!

YES!!! I've definitely been noticing that, & I don't particularly like it!

One of the toughest things is leaving a pet somewhere...hopefully she'll be home ASAP.

It's kind of strange but I actually felt pretty good about leaving Gracie there. I kind of had a feeling she was going to need IV treatment & this way they can observe her, since she's had so many ups & downs lately! Hopefully they can get something figured out for my girl! I don't like not having her at home!!

Good morning friends. Today is a bit of a special and exciting day for me. My son who is a freshman in high school will be playing in his first high school athletics (soccer) game today. I have been watching him play since he was 4 years old and today he becomes a high school athlete.

Oh, and one more day closer to Christmas!

Yes we have traveled that road too! My daughter plays Fall, Winter and Summer and in spring she tried golf and really liked it.

Please keep Gracie in your prayers. She had to spend the night at the doggie hospital last night for IV. He did a blood test on her & all her levels are out of whack! Her white/red blood count, & BUN are low. Her phosphorus is high. I'm not having a good feeling about this. My poor sweet girl!
It was so strange not having her at home last night & this morning. She missed her peeps walking by for their 1st day of school this morning! Her favorite thing to do is bark at them. LOL!!

Today, I took our little daughter to her first day of Preschool. Even though she has never been to a sitter, she did very well and had a fabulous day! I am so happy for her because she will be able to spend more time with other kids. I am also happy for myself because now I have 9 more hours to myself a week and feel like I will be more of a person again. I am excited to check in here more often and be part of this awesome group! There is always something great to read about!
