Happy Labor Day to the MMC world. Things got a little bit busier yesterday than I had planned, but I suppose that is not always a bad thing. Today I will make a very early morning run to the store to get a few things my wife is desiring (also some dog treats) and then back here to enjoy the day off. It is actually calling for a warmer day than originally expected at 85 and sunny. Well, I can always take a stand up fan onto the deck... lol.
I hope everyone is having a great day and whether or not you are celebrating Labor Day, enjoy this first full week of September...

Merry Monday Morning
Happy Labour Day to my American friends.

Dismal wet day here again but not too cold. Kids are enjoying their last couple days home before they return to school on Wednesday. Usually mum has gone by this time so it has been nice to have her here when the kids go back. The time is going quickly She is already more than half way through her trip

Well we finally made it to Labor Day!! Today most of us celebrate in our own strange traditions, although most of us will end up having the last big bbq of the year. No matter how we celebrate today...Have fun!!
Btw..today we get to celebrate our new Countdown numbers so lets take a peek at em.
Days to the Season: 70
Days to Christmas: 112

Crown will return tomorrow to take back over the reins of the Countdown. The skies here have cleared up some and its supposed to be a nice day. I have 8 racks of ribs to grill today and continue on with my Labor Day tradition of watching old Southern 500's. Have a good Labor Day everyone!!

It's a dull and rainy day here; I'm going to do some labour today by cleaning the bathroom and making meatloaf for dinner.

Keeping good thoughts for those in the hurricane and storm areas.

Morning MMC! Happy Labor Day! This really signifies (unofficially) the end of summer. And with that we have a beautiful late summer day predicted with a high of 81 under sunny skies. Got to enjoy those last handful of really warmer days that we still have ahead of us. They will dwindle over the next few weeks. We didn't get out of the 60s over the weekend. More October type weather instead of September. Anyway, we are having a BBQ this evening. Going to enjoy this day off and relax a bit because after this I have only 1 scheduled vacation day off till Thanksgiving. But it's going to be one heck of a run Autumn ride to get there. Have a great day!

Howdy Edge. Same here for today, relax and enjoy the time. Since I also have tomorrow off, I can really kick back and fire up the pit for both lunch and dinner. I will have a few days off around Halloween, but that is mostly to help out the Zoo for their annual Zoo Boo.

Gooooooood morning!

Coffee is hot and good, but my ol' eyes are still blurry and telling me to get more sleep! No time for that! A lot to do today and not much time to get it done. Yesterday turned into a mess....nothing got done that was planned. My school district is going for a millage and we spent all day putting out signs. Did get to have a BBQ at my parents' house last night. That was fun. Today, I've got to go get some groceries, cook, yard work, clean truck, etc., etc., etc.

But first, I had to come by and check out the countdown. Yall have a great day!

Beautiful weather here, and I'm not motivated to do much, but I'll get done what needs doing. It's going to be VERY busy at the office in the coming weeks, so I'm enjoying the calm before the storm.

Yesterday was so chilly and gray that I just had to make gingerbread---we had a box of mix in the cupboard. It's still a bit cool today, but it's supposed to warm up into the low 80s. I expect the smell of backyard grills in the neighborhood this afternoon!
