Merry Saturday MMC ~
It's going to be cloudy today, chance of a shower with a high of 68 degrees. Not too much planned for today. I'm heading out soon to do some food shopping. I plan on decorating for Autumn later this afternoon, can't wait!

I forgot to mention that this morning that I saw an informercial for the Winter Wonderland Projector. It was a 1/2 hr one. Just another sign we are getting closer to the season!

Morning Martine. Got home a couple of hours ago and just relaxing while the rest of the house is sleeping. Beautiful morning with 62 degrees and clear skies. I must say, September is starting off very well indeed. Enjoy this day and your weekend. By the way, who does the grilling?

Good Morning Septem"Ber" fans at MMC. Crown is out this weekend putting his finishing touches on summer, as most of us are. But as some things are ending, such as summer, certain things have just begun, such as "The Bers". How was your 1st day of the Bers? I hope it was great. And I hope today will be even better. Maybe this will make it a little better. Let's check out our count this morning.

Days to the Season: 72
Days to Christmas Day: 114

Of course, you can easily tell our next milestone falls 2 weeks from today as the 100 day marker to Christmas Day arrives. But also notice that season count. 10 weeks from Monday the Season starts. Yikes! This is the excitement that the Bers bring as we get closer and closer to the holiday season. But take it easy and enjoy your Saturday first. We expect a high of 69 degrees today with mostly cloudy skies and some showers later in the day/evening. Coolish start to the Bers. Enjoy your Saturday!

Thanks Edge! Yes the Bers are here! We had low 60s here yesterday and it really felt like Fall. Really amazing where we are now. Have a good Labor day weekend everybody!

Beautiful morning here but an unusual amount of activity in the neighbourhood. Everyone seems to be out doing DIY and garden work. It's that sudden realisation that the seasons are turning so time to finish up jobs and prepare for the cold moving in. It makes me smile.

Greetings Festive. Yes, one of the many thoughts that cross our minds this time of year is that outside work needs to get finished. Tonight I will finish my work week. Sunday it is church and yard work for me as well. Monday (Labor Day)... hopefully nothing and Tuesday (took it off) some more yard work, weather permitting. Enjoy your weekend as well. By the way how is the house coming along?

Lovely blue skies and sunshine here today for the beginning of the BERs.....I took the dog out at 6.15 this morning and there was frost on the cars and a definite chill in the air - was nice to get back into the house although I dont have the heating on yet and am refusing to until at least October hopefully because gas prices here are hiking up

Happy Saturday Skippy. The one huge advantage of cooler weather is that you can always put something else on, while in the Summer, you can only take off so much. Hang in there...

Morning ... very chilly this morning, temps are suppose to reach the mid 60s and they are calling for rain off/on today. Planning on spending the day with the family refinishing desks we got for the kids. One needs to be sanded before painted and the other just needs to be painted. Hope everyone has a great day!

It's very true. I still need to paint the front fence along with some other smaller jobs. Time and weather permitting. The internal renovations are progressing along slowly but surely. We are hoping to wrap up the living room and front hallway by mid september. We will take a break at this point and have postponed remodelling the Kitchen and a couple more jobs till next spring. We are exhausted and are eager to settle down for the autumn/winter months. I want to savour the time of year and we need a break to recharge

Hope you get everything done on your checklist this weekend and enjoy some R&R too.

I'll do my best. Sounds like the two of you have a great grasp of getting things done without over doing it to the point of exhaustion. In many ways, I think taking your time to get things done only enhances the memories. Have fun!!!

Greetings to the MMC community on this enjoyable Saturday morning. One more night and I can enjoy my own version of a three-day weekend (Sun-Tue). Temps are expected to be in the mid 70's with mostly sunny skies.
The plan is yard work, followed by relaxation and finally... yard work. I hope all those who will be celebrating Labor Day across this country will also enjoy some quiet time and some nice weather.
Now it is time to wind down and get some much needed sleep before my last shift begins for the week. Everyone have a nice day and a great weekend...

It was cool and brisk this morning, very autumnal ... heading for the low 70s (F) under sunshine today.
Tomorrow, cool and rainy (a bit of what's left of Hurricane Harvey) ... a nice day for a home-cooked meal and kicking back a bit, I think!
